I've hung out with Willie from the Exploited a few times, and he was a doorman at my habitual club for a bit.

Tris and bis sufficiently sore from tuesday. So far so good averting the lurgy.Lost my voice a little tuesday/wednesday but a clear night of booze and smokes seems to have cleared that up nicely.I was aimimg for three nights alcohol free but i did have a three cans last night and slept like a baby.Tonight will be booze free and maybe a 20 min session on chest.Fingers crossed.

Had a great days rest from work and training.Done my ussual pilmgrimage to camden for cd's fri night and picked up another harrington i'd seen the week before but was undecided.Green army issue camo with tarten lining...superb.Back home and took dogs out as we had more people veiwing the house.
Today had a cycle into ilford (about a mile or so) with a superb hill to pick up some cd's i ordered from canada and got a nice sore pump in my thighs. Those short intense bike rides really shock the thighs and i'm sure they are helping growth.
Finished the rest of the day with a nice long walk over the nature reserve with my muts...absolutely beautiful over there, no one about just hundreds of rabbits for my dogs to excersise trying to catch.
Tomorow is training day again and really keen and up for it.Must try and go easy on the booze tonight.Shouldnt be to hard, i'm on me tod and have 300 to watch then off to bed.Had two alcohol free nights this week and some good sleeps, one of which was 8 and half hours. All part of the game plan for hypertrophy.

Workouts lookin' good!
I've figured out why you're moving...you need a bigger house for your stash of clothes
Quite fancy getting the skin between thumb and first finger pierced - haven't seen anyone with that done - well not in the flesh Will get other tragus done when I take Bibi in to get hers. I promised her if she passed all her exams it would be her treat...along with the bright green hair she's after . Takes after her Mum, that's all I can say

300 is a great film but i do ask myself being in that sorta condition how did those guys find the energy to do all that stuff with no food suplies...a basic mistake in any battle stratergy, the enemy wouldve just cut supplies and watched them starve

Decided to split my session into two and do legs tomorow with a chest movement too.My left hamstring behind the knee is a little swollen again from the weeks toil of just being on me feet 24/7.This occurs from time to time and will be ok tomorow with some rest and all ive done today is lay in bed eating then train, no dogwalking or nothing so should be good to go tomorow.
Did bis and tris today and was a little tired from a relatively late night and a little over indulgence but wat the hell its a three day holiday so why deny a little pleasure in ones life.
Pleased with the outcome today as ive left these two movements for about a month and concentrated on compounds to try and break the plateau that had befallen them and today it payed off getting some progression again.A lot of this will be down to starting creatine again too ofcourse.
Seated tri ext on the 9th marchproduced 46kgx8...today got 46kgx9 with sets looking like this.16kgx10/26kgx10/36kgx10/46kgx9/46kgx6.
Preacher curlwas seriously plateaud on the 9th feb producing 44kgx7 then falling too 40kgx6 on march 9th...however today busted my fvcin arse too produce 44kgx8.sets going...16kgx10/26kgx10/36kgx10/44kgx8/44kgx5 and half then fail.

Even done a nice little shot for the record, guns still holding out at 15 & three quarter inch.

Couldn't agree more.

Looking in good shape in that photo. Triceps seem to be lagging though in my opinion.

Tris and legs are my focus cjw.As with many newbies i thought miles of curls would create big arms and never did enough leg sessions so now i'm paying having to catch up but we're getting there.I hope to eventually add another lean inch to my upper arm through tricep focus over the next five years.

Nice forward planning there! It's true of many newbies - they focus on the bodyparts that they think will make them look cool, such as big bi's - neglecting the other bodyparts, so the end result is a complete imbalance.
Your tris will soon balance out - they look good to me, maybe a side pose would show them off a little better. As usual pic's lookin' good
Answered to your post on my journal...oops
Back in the gym tomorrow after two days of rest and lots of lovely sleep - can't seem to get enough of it since I started training seriously . Still on the wagon - it was two months yesterday, though might treat myself to a glass or two of red on hubbys birthday towards the end of July. Had a sniff of his wine the other night and wasn't tempted
How's the house sale going? Any offers in yet? Hope all goes well for you both and you get a buyer quickly.

Biceps are mashed this morning.Triceps achey but not as bad as bi's.Undecided as of yet wat chest movement to do along with legs today. If tris dont feel too achey on my dogwalk this morning i might hit them again with a chest movement this arvo for proper domms.

Its officially deadlift season again hehe.Pulled 190kg, failed 200kg.Vids will be aded once youtube adds them.
Decided to stay off tris as they are now sore so opted for bench flyes. The progression here was a deeper rom than on my floor flyes at same weight so happy with this.Sets went as such...12kgx10/16kgx10/18kgx10/20kgx10/22kgx10.I'm adding dumbell weight now as i didnt before so although i recorded 20 kg on floor flye it is in actual fact 22kg.Nice deep rom on these, very slow.
Onto legs and ext went up 1kg too 108kg going...40kgx10/60kgx10/80kgx10/108kgx10.
Calf raise up 1kg too 140kgx10.sets went...48kgx10/140kgx10/140kgx10 the bodyweight for extra five reps at 130 reps for a very sore and massive pump.
Onto deadlift and sets went 48kgx10/88kgx10/128kgx1 grip slipping so on with wraps and belt for one rep max attempt.168kgx1/190kgx1/200kg fail/200kg fail/190kgx1.

Biceps are severely dommed, tris nicely sore, legs suitably achey more in calves than quads.Lower back a little achey but not sore as such, did a little lifting with it on the deads which is to be avioded if possible to load quads instead.Form will improve as i proceed with this now on alternate weeks upping the weight slowley.
Feel great this morning, promise of good weather, new harrington and two new t shirts too wear this week. There is a smell of summer in the air
