Back from deepest darkest essex and funeral passed excellently. All had a great beer up and laugh after.Spose i had about 10-11 pints over course of afternoon to evening with plenty of grub on the spread and feel fighting fit today.Had a good breaky before send off this morning and now just cooking quorn lamb chops and chips before taking muts out and my planned bi-tri session.Legs still a tad achey from sundays session. They was serious domms and i'm glad of the time off work tbh lol.

I'm glad it went well Stef. Enjoy your bi'tri session. Seems a lifetime since I did that sort of stuff, but in reality, its only been a few weeks really! I think I remember doms?? Its been a while since I had those too!

Our trainings very different now OG, both with different goals.Still like too keep an eye on your dead and bench though hehe as there the only two i enter the realm of power on.
Anywaze, good short session doing something i aint done for while on the pully system.
Started with pushdown and whilst i never matched my best ever pb (46kgx7 june 24) i progressed my latest push of 37kgx6 on dec 8th with 40kgx6 but real ropey form.Sets went something like...20kgx10/30kgx10/40kgx6 badform/35kgx10 goodform.
Supersetted with concentration curls and progressed pb of 16th march at 24kgx6 with 24kgx7, again sloppy form but most of these pb's are.Sets went...12kg warm/24kgx7/17kgx10/17kgx10.
Finished up on diagnal tri ext for a real nasty tri pump and still getting just under 16 inch on the tape for upper arm.No progression on this movement as i was well pre exhausted so sets went...10kgx6/15kgx6/15kgx6.
Feel really good about myself and training in general atm.Back to work tomorow but looking forward too the weekends training.

Really nice session that mate.

I miss that sort of session sometimes now. Managed a squat PB tonight so upped the total a tad more.

13 stone 11 last night.I wouldnt mind trying to hit 14 stone for more power and consistant progression then assess what to do then.Bit of a milestone for me as i could never get to 14 stone before i went down the prohormone then steriod route.A lot of years later and here we are approaching it at a relatively lean state unnassisted.
The short working week finished up with my ussual pilgrimage to camden retro market and another very stylish fredperry.I also stumbled on a very cheap cd stall and picked up a female vocal trojan collection wich i never had and an upsetters cd i aint got full of dub remixes
Will walk me muts over nature reserve soon, although its looking a bit dull outside then back in for part one of my two day training split for this weekend.

I think ive seen tony and he looks good aye.Niggle free tbh mate, hamstring on left flares every now and then and the damge i done to my hand at crimbo seems to be well healed.I still have one knuckle set at a funny angle but thats an old injury from an angry young past and i only really get reminded of my hand problems when on vibrating tools at work for any length of time.
I have lined someone up for a great gag now......

....oh well, opotunity missed .
Short session today as progression meant i was flawed relatively quickly.
Pullovers from floor.april 20th did 48kgx7,today upped 2kg and added another rep.stes went...tribar-10kgwarm/20kgx10/40kgx7(held back for heavier)/50kgx8 then switched too ezbar for 56kgx6 wich matches my november pull of 58kgx6 as that wouldve been a leading move and not back end.
Supersetting with hammer curl on tribar and got 1 rep progression at the expense of form, sometimes an inevitable factor.sets went...10kg warm/20kgx10/40kgx7 then ez for 46kgx6.
finished on floor flyes as rain meant bench was unnobtainable from under tarp in garden.upped 1 kg per dumb reps maintained nice and deep, nice and slow.couldve got one more set but shopping arrived and had too abandan but pump was full on.sets went...12kgx10/23kgx10/23kgx8.

Lookin good in the photos Stef, I'm after a torso like yours, still a way off though at the moment.

Saw some punks last night walking to a rock club carving a path through the commercial townie hoards! Inspired me to post in your journal!

Funny how you say your injury free then gain one lol.Not really an injury but tweaked something along clavicle. My guestimation is its the deltiod origin as this muscle assists in both pullovers and flyes, both excacuted yesterday.Anyway should bypass this area succesfully doing legs later but untill then.....
....THE SUN IS OUT....
Time to get over the nature reserve and soak up some vit D with the dogs as they never went out yesterday cause of rain.

Just put my vege shepards pie in the microwave and realised how achey my tris are.In all honesty i didnt think i'd get soreness from those pullovers yesterday but they have proved a worthy adversery yet again.
I forgot to mention my preview of cds this week.I know their is one reggae fan on this board who regularly frequents here so my tip of the week is "i shall sing" on the trojan label. All the best of reggae divas and wipes the floor over "trojan reggae sisters" by a long shot.well worth the investment.

I'd love the Trojan Story again Stef. I hardly got to listen to it as well! All those years ago!

I bought the collection - a boxed set of vynil's LP's of course. caught the bus to see girlfriend jumped off the bus and dropped the feckers! every one smashed to one degree or another! tried listening to a few tracks but was'nt worth the effort so binned em! What a tw@t!

Listened to the aforementioned album whilst walking to the nature reserve and back.Have you seen the lily allen video where all the grey of eastlondon truns to flowers and beautiful people...this is me in my manor lol. When you listen to great reggae like this and smile at people it dont matter than they dont smile back and give you evils cause all you wanna do is spread the lurrrrv.
There is the reggae version of the beautiful "loving you" originally recorded by minnie ripperton sung by a lady by the name of janet kay...its worth checking out cause its chilldown to the extreme.Judy mowatts song "the gardener" is skanking too.If you wanted the addy for the trojan catalogue i can let you have it...gonna send off for it myself, everything ever recorded and some not available now in shops.
