Yes the SLDL is something ive tried but never stuck to and im probably gonna incorperate into my regime some time this year, never thought of it as a hamstring movement but looking back i spose it is..in fact until you mentioned it i kinda overlooked hams a bit and i can see them lagging now so fair play to you. Dont like the look of the GMs and being one of the construction industry clan probably best i give this a miss for the same reasons as you lol

Hey vegan good to see you over here..yea that was my previous hobbie and one i intend to readdress at a later date when finances are more healthy.I was slowley building up to full sleeves but my life pattern got disturbed (for the better really) and now ive ended up with this other hobbie that takes all my available cash.Things are changing come march and im going fulltime education culminating in my personal trainer qualification by the end of the year (fingers crossed) so with a bit of luck once im settled into it my income should be increased (although it seems she has plans already for this lol) but there should be a bit of room for a session once a month with the gun.I did notice you share the passion and particularly liked the "vegan" script....not to common that. Andy the diet is going steady and strict...already seeing better muscle seperation on my quads and abs....but its a slow process as so far ive just gone down to a maintanance intake but kept carbs and fats nice and low...still eating five/six times a day as i wanna keep protein available for my muscles at all times.Getting hunger pangs all the time which i spose is the body craving what its losing but its tollarable.I agree with you on the lower back fat as i store loads here and this will be last call for shedding just like the lower ab panel.Im gonna run this thing for a good while longer as long as im seeing steady results but might even do a final four weeks or so of real carb limitation towards the end just to see what we can acheive. At the end of the day it aint a comp prep or nothing like that and i dont really wanna much below 14 1/2 stone ,the ultimate goal here is just to break off bulking for a while and mix it up so the body keeps geusssing whats occuring hopefully taking me into my next bulker that should tip 16 stone...(only acheived 15 1/2 last time)

Excellent mate ! you seem very focused on your goals... As for the hunger 'pangs' ... I know them all too well... ephedrine helps; as does keeping your water intake high... for me anyway

I dont use eph cause ive a family history of prostrate trouble and while this is no reason that ill be afflicted with the same fate id rather do just the basics (testosterone in mild doses) and supplement guard this particular area.I have appetite suppresents in supp form that are potent but again im still looking to get my intake of protein and keep that constant throughout. Just glad someone else is "inconvenienced" aswell lol makes it easier to know of "others".

Mine isn't so much hunger all of the time; but more of a craving for foods I cant have... food that I wouldnt be bothered about normally; but because I know I cant have it... I want it!

Ok been leaning out now since begining of the year (just before christmas infact) and ive made good steady progress....have dropped body weight down to just under 14 1/2 stone from 15 1/2 stone and dont seem to have dropped any measurements.Been losing a couple of pounds a week on a low fat ,limited carb diet whilst getting regular protein every two three hours.Just notched the diet up a bit now and the only carb im getting now is from vegetables (and obviously the carbs glued to the protein).Seeing all the signs of body fat decrease with vascularity, striations and muscle seperation.Wanna do some numerical recordings and ive got my accu-measure in the post this morning but ill be damned with these stupid equations. Here are my stats... TRICEPS =3mm BICEPS =2mm SUBSCAPULA=19mm AXILLA =9mm ILIAC CREST=9mm SUPRASPINALE=19mm ABDOMINAL=19mm FRONT THIGH=13mm MEDIAL CALF=11mm CHEST=9mm ...and i wanna put them through this equation.... "Some of the following equations give a measure of body density (D), which then needs to be converted to %BF using the Siri equation: %BF = (495/D) - 450. MALES: D = 1.10938 - (0.0008267 x sum of chest, abdominal, thigh) + (0.0000016 x square of the sum of chest, abdominal, thigh) - (0.0002574 x age), based on a sample aged 18-61." ...but unfortunately my maths are cr@p so could someone please show me how to do this .

Glad to hear that you`re seeing results mate. Keep it up! Wish I could help you with the numbers but maths also isn`t my strong point and all the calipers I`ve ever used came with a chart so you just add up the total and search for the bodyfat when matched to the relevant sex and age group. I most often only do a 4 point test but the more points you use the more accurate it`ll be. Good luck and be sure to tell us the result once you`ve figured it out.

Is there like a ten point test as you can see ive gathered all the measurements above but even the equation is only a three point...ive got a three point program running on my comp called "fatalyzer" that put me at 7-8 % but i know im not down that far yet (i think)...has anyone used the fatalyzer or can they provide a full and comprehensive bodyfat equation.

Hi, good going on the reduction in body fat. The calc you gave puts you at 12.5% (assuming you're 30, can't find your age in your journal). Sum of chest, abs, thigh = 41 Square of sum = 1681 D = 1.10938 - (0.0008267 x 41) + (0.0000016 x 1681) - (0.0002574 x 30) which is 1.0704529 BF = 495/1.0704529 - 450 which is 12.42% I can email you an Excel spreadsheet so you can play with the numbers if you like.

Thankyou very much Henk..so the sum of something is just it added together (i wish theyd speak english)..that calc puts me in the same kind of ballpark as the seven point so ill treat that as quite accurate....yea im 31 so i spose thatd be nearly the same. What does a spreadsheet enable me to do ?

Age 31 just changes the answer to 12.53% If you have the spreadsheet you can put in your updated numbers as they reduce and it would calculate the answer for you, that's all (assuming you have MS Excel installed on your PC...).

I dont think i have excel installed (well i never put it there anyway)..but from what youve showed me i can do the equation..it was just the "sum" bit i was struggling with.Thanx again.
