Does this have a similar taste / texture as cottage cheese?

They do sell it in Tesco, I have half a tub with some whey, choc powder and a little water before bed; makes a nice choc moose type pud.

Nowt like cottage cheese though.

Sounds like it could be something to consider other than cottage cheese. Other than in shakes can u put it on crackers ect?

No, completely different, more like a solid yoghurt if that makes sense

There are some recipes, etc in the recipe section mate. It is nice when mixed up like I said above, but IIRC you can spread it like normal cheese and have it on crackers. I wouldn't personally as it isn't that nice by itself!!

You can buy from any supermarket. Buy a few sachets of the Options hot chocolate too, and mix it with a bit of water and mix in the chocolate, and it makes a gorgeous chocolate mousse type dessert, which packs a mighty 30grams of casein protein!

Alternatively you can have it as a savoury snack. I was having it spread onto a couple of oatcakes in the morning giving a good mix of complex carbs and slow digesting protein, great for breakfast!

In Tesco it is in the same aisle as the Cottage Cheese, but it is up near the specialist cheese, like mozarella balls, etc. Just ask one of the assistants.

Ask Tesco for a sample.

I tried this exact same mix. I hate most cheeses and was advised it didn't really taste like cheese mixed like that.

It tasted of cheese

One mouthful was enough and it was binned. Shame really because it's incredibly cheap, high in protein and low in saturated fat.

I can't eat it like this, so I add more water, blend and drink it.
