Eggs!! they've gone up the most as sure as Eggs is Eggs. My Mrs bought me 4 hens last year but they only lay around 3 or 4 eggs a day which isn't really enough but hey every little helps!

i think you could find a better alternative nutritionally to cans of stewed steak for less money and the large 5kg bags of pasta are a lot better value

It's killing me too. Fruit is hurrting me the most. I like to buy lots of fruit to eat between meals when I get the cravings, or at night when my damn roomate is munching on chips or junk food and I need to eat an apple to avoid downing his junk. I actually had to switch to buying a cheaper type of apples which dont taste as good b/c they were a dollar less per pound. Terrible...

Thats not bad going, are they free range, do they taste any better (the eggs), i always find free range taste better and obviously bigger.
Your peers hate change. It makes them insecure, because they suddenly discover there’s more to you than they were probably willing to admit. They fear that you may actually achieve your goal.

Soya mince, welcome to the world of soya mince! Screw eggs, pricey pricey! I eat turkey mince, chicken, Turkey, Tuna, Pretty much my staples. Veg is cheap if you get it on the market stalls and buy frozen broc/cauli etc. Anything discounted (10 eggs 40p as theyrepast their "best before date", got 70), Venison burgers, salmon etc all 10p cause its out of date.
My posts are all my opinion and based on current knowledge/understanding.

Well you have to shop around especially if your food bill per week is quite high.. example, sainsbury's free range eggs x6 are about £1.38, my local store sells x6 free range for 99p and his price hasn't gone up...just one example of how to justify shopping around if you can..

Luckly for me I live near a farm who sell fresh free range eggs £1.20 per box for extra large eggs, I noticed on saturday when I was in Asda they want 1.89 for a box of just large eggs, I can't see how Asda can justify charging that amount thats 60 pence difference a box and for what is in effect smaller eggs!!

The hens are old traditional breeds and 2 of them lay beautiful light blue eggs. I have seen similar selling in the local supermarket for £2.50 for 1/2 doz. They are free range but have access to feed also. And yes M8 the eggs are big and taste great. And although i don't eat many of the yolks they are really bright yellow and rich in flavour. Can't beat it - Def recommended - get your own hens! ORIGINAL: Raydude ORIGINAL: Howmuch Eggs!! they've gone up the most as sure as Eggs is Eggs.
