50g of powder or 50g on nutritional information!!! - 15 July 2008 17:10
When someone says I need 50g Protein Post Workout does that mean 50g of powder which is equal to 40g protein or do I need 50g of portein equal to 62.5g powder???

Sounds daft but im confused

50g of actual protein i would have thought. Like 50gs of carbs. Actually it probably depends, is it a recipe?

Im going with 50g of actual protein as opposed to 50g of powder. Its not a massive difference is it?

Im confused too, personally if it was powder i was talking about id write 50g Whey or state powder, so that leads me to think its talking about 50g of the macro.

If you want to be picky about it, it's 50g of protein from 62.5g of powder. However, it's not that critical how much protein you get at any specific meal so don't get too anal about it.
