home routine gains
-
15 July 2008 21:25
Hey, i've been doing this home exercise routine for about a month now, and i was just wondering about a few things i might not be doing properly. (im quite skinny and doing any kind of weights is new to me) What i tend to do each day is 3 sets of pushups (normally 30, then 25, then 20), 3 sets of crunches (35, 25, 20), then my arms i use a dumbell and do 3 sets on each arm (15, 12, 10) alternating between arms each set. Sometimes i do more than this if im bored, and will repeat all the sets later on in the day. My problem is that whilst i have noticed a big gain in my arm size and arm strength (ive gone up from about 5.5kg dumbell to 10kg in like...2 weeks, and my arms look noticably bigger ) .... i am still stuck on the exact same amount of pushups. I max out at about 30... and even though im doing them every day i cant seem to do any more!! Any advice would be great!
