What oats? - 15 July 2008 21:44
I'm going to make some shakes up next week to have whilst in work every day, these will consist of:

75g oats,
400ml skimmed milk,
two scoops of chocolate flavoured whey

What oats would be suitable to just chuck straight into the blender with the milk and whey?

Are quaker oats ok?

any rolled oats, supermarkets do cheap bags for around 50p a KG.

The branded oats usually taste a little nicer IMO if having porriage, in a shake the cheapy ones will be fine, nutritionally they will be the same
