Hi

After a bit of advice if possible!

I run a small personal training company in my spare time, not done anything since March time and looking to close the business, am set up as a sole trader.

How do I go about doing this?

Am due to submit the self assessment this week as I have not traded since March shall I just put a note with the self-assessment or is there a formal route I need to go along?

It is a very very small business! Just had enough and will concentrate on my full time job now

Just inform Customs and revenue that you have stoped trading as a business and under that name, (If you had a business name that is?) They will just need a few details such as the final day of trading. They will still want your tax return for the time you have traded in the last year.
