Advice needed on protein supps
-
18 July 2008 11:53
Could do with some help!! I wanted to buy a stack of protein supps for lean muscle, preferably to take first thing AM, pre/post workout and last thing PM, I only had £55 to spend and wanted something with NO artifical sweeteners in it. First of, what a ball-ache trying to find branded supps without artificial crap in it!! Anyways I have found REFLEX Natural whey (5lb - hear good reviews) and CNP Pro Recover (908g - tried before & is quality) which will do me good for £55 for a month but doesnt have any slow release casein for before bed. My other option is My Protein, where for the same money I can get 1kg of Whey, 1kg of Soy & 1kg of Micellar Casein and 100g of L Glut. Then i can make my own shakes with natuaral flavourings (i also get money left for some ZMA!) However is the quality gonna be as good as the brands? Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers

Cheers Yes that sounds fine. You can use honey/vanilla essence or whatever to flavour shakes. Why 1kg of Soy protein?

Cheers for the advice, I heard soya protein is very fast absorbed and good first thing and pre-workout. It also contains a lot of aminos!
