Enjoyed the story but didn't think it was as funny as usual for Pixar. Definitely worth a watch though.

FYI, if your kid starts crying, just quietly take them outside and deal with it. It's not a difficult situation

As much as I enjoyed it, check out this for superb graphics. Obviously Wall-E is a cartoon as such and not aiming for realistic graphics, but there:

My little uns just got the PSP game. I'd never heard of it until then. She loves the game so will probably like the film.

An interesting film and a a calculated risk by Pixar to keep pushing the envelope and I for one salute their intelligence and drive - otherwise they'll end up just like Disney pushing out bland, formulaic crud.

I am looking forward to one of their next pieces of work, because they are taking a stab at a 2D hand drawn film. Its been a few years since anyone attempted that and I believe its brave, but if anyone can pull it off then the talented team at Pixar can.

Although I cant but help wonder why they got in to bed with Disney, maybe its the money that Disney has behind it? If more money betters their output then I applaud it, but if it turns into mundane dross then it will kick them in the nether regions.
