Tribulus,worth a try if over 40?
-

Hi, I have only recently started to read up on the pro's and cons of using Tribulus,I've used the search function on the site and it seems thats its only worth taking if your over 40. I'm just about to turn 40 and wondered if there are any long term users of 40+ and if they've had good gains with it? I've only ever used Whey in the past so this is new ground for me. Thanks

It may help with libido, but not with increasing testosterone levels

I turned 51 this year and I decided to give tribulus another try. I went for the 1000mg tablet from NOW. I took it along with my other usual supplements and really didn't give it another thought. After a short time, I realised that I was really enjoying my workouts more and was feeling great afterwards. I find it hard to see changes in myself, but a couple of gym members asked me what I was doing different as they had noticed a marked improvement. I know a lot of people on this forum don't rate tribulus at all, but I am convinced that it works for me. I don't know if it increases test. levels, but for me, it seems to have a great effect - with no nasty side effects! My only concern is that I shall have to take a short break from it soon. It will be interesting to see I continue to improve during this period. I guess we all react differently to different things, but I'd give it a go and see if it works for you.
