simple fat loss program advice - 24 July 2008 07:38
Hi,

Im looking for a simple fat loss diet if someone could assist please. Not terribly clued up on calories taken burned off etc.
At this time my average daily diet is as follows.

9 am= Bowl of bran flakes , protien powder , 2 slices of wholewheat bread

12 = piece of fruit , tuna salad, protien powder

3 pm = piece of chicken breast grilled, salad, piece of fruit, protien powder

6 pm = salad ( again ) wholegrain pasta, piece of fruit, protien powder

9 pm = protien powder, fruit

i work night shift so snack on fruit and nuts through the night. Im aware this is by no means a scientific type of diet. Im aware it consists of `good` foods which are quite low in fat. Im also weight training so obvious goals are to continue to bulk while i lose fat ( not weight )

Im currently 197 lbs, 5`11 with 15 percent bodyfat. I do cardio in between the ``3 day magic split routine`` so thats tue, thurs, and sat, 60 mins of bike, stepper and treadmill, a mix of fast paced and steady. I am desperate to tone the midsection. Any tried and tested SIMPLE diet and cardio advice is most welcome. Ive always beleived that you know someone is taking their training SERIOUSLY when their midsection is tight, not neccesarily a 6 pack but slim and tight, thats when u know work has been put into obtaining that. My bulking goals are secondary to losing the midsection.

PS. if that doesnt work im off for lipo surgery lol

check out my cutting diet, it's working a treat for me. I tend to do a.m cardio most mornings and a 4 day weights split.

as for the mid section, work your core in you evening cardio sessions. hard work and commitment is the key to achieving your goals.
