Definately not made up mate - absolute truth! I really am that stupid!

Join the club FKOAG, there aren't many who haven't done stuff like that. Although trapping your old man in the handle of a Tesco bag is pretty impressive

Nice!

I'm off to train legs now, so hopefully my quads will feel the same. The suit will also be tested!

Woke up this morning and my neck is giving me some grief. It'll pass. Or there will be tears come five o' clock, all of them mine.

Mithering and moaning, so very much better. She will never be 100% but she's almost back to her old self. Still in hospital but not for too much longer I suspect. Thanks for asking

Monday 12th May. Start 17:00 and it's hot, hotter than the ninth level of hell

Squat, new suit, no belt, no wraps, straps down and this suit is tight, all weights in pounds

I got a right old sweat on just getting into the damn thing

45 x 10
45 x 10
45 x 10
220 x 5
220 x 5
220 x 5
220 x 5
straps up
310 x 5
400 x 3
wraps on
500 x 2 "feet a bit wider" shouts the master
540 x 2
580 x 2
620 x 2

DrRick pronounces these the deepest I have ever done, "keep 'em there and you never get redlighted again" A bold statement and best of all is that tonight these weren't heavy, not the snapiest I have ever done, but not heavy. Happy days are just around the corner.

I measured my legs the other day, circumferemce at mid thigh is 30.5, usually it's 30" so that explains the tightness. Suit is also a tad harder to get off, and two very red rings are testament to the tightness. Now if I can just stop being a big girl I can use this to my advantage. Clouds and silver linings and all that. End 18:00 And offski

I wasn't lying either mate.

You know that angle, from behind, where all PL squats look high at Adders?

Yours looked in from there. Seriously.

I didn't doubt you. But when the depth was originally deepened, I felt I was going to the very core of the earth, whereas now I don't. They don't actually feel as deep as the others. I suppose the golden rule is to just "sit in"

Lovely indeed

But when it was over I looked like I had been training under a waterfall

I don't have to. Alan does it, he keeps his eye on everyone and keeps us all to our tasks. The theory is that you can't control the pace in a competition so you have to go when they tell you, ergo in training you go when Alan tells you, not when you want to. He isn't unresonable, but he doesn't like you to hang around, once your breathing is back to normal, expect a prod and a gentle reminder to "start getting ready"

wednesday, 14th May, start 17:00

Alan decides in favour of a shirtless night, same principle, just no shirt

Bench raw. All weights in kilograms

20 x 20
20 x 20
20 x 20
70 x 5
70 x 5
70 x 5
all paused from here on in
110 x 3
120 x 3
130 x 2
140 x 1
150 x 1
160 x 1
165 x 1
150 x 2

All went nicely enough, very snappy and fast off the chest up to and including the 150, then things slowed a tad. Shoulder still not completely right, but near enough. Enjoyed this tonight, good fun. End 18:10
