Weight up to 92kg, but still lost 2kg this week.

Low carb day today, had 2 slices wholemeal bread, and that's cos I was on the move - that'll be it. Similar tomorrow.

But went to the gym and did

Back, Triceps + Abs

CG lat pull downs - 6,6,6@3 plates from bottom
seated lever row - 6@120kg, 5,6@160kg, 6@160-7@120kg drop set
tricep cable push downs - 4 sets 35-50kg
rope pull downs - 2 sets 30-40kg
crunches - loads, different positions

Feel really good, and hungry which is nice

Hi mate - yeah we did.

One instructor was indifferent, one liked it, one seemed appauled.

Just for a little bit so that my MMA mate didn't feel left out, was good fun.

have you seen the new grading syllabus for judo wiffers ?

looks very heavy on 'booky' knowledge , they are knocking the number of kyu down to 6

(white - yellow - orange - green - blue - brown) not sure how you gain a black belt as it doesnt say in the syllabus.

you may be able to download it here if you havnt got it already.

great benching mate !!

Cheers Jonny and FrankenJim

and yes I have Jonny, they're making it theory based (no need to fight). BUT, if you've started the old way, you can carry on. Also, you need to fight for your black as per usual.

The way I see it, if I get to 1st Kyu by fighting, and someone else without fighting, surely I'm gonna rock when it comes to getting the Dan?

We'll see I suppose, shame though IMO

Judo

Judo - looks like I do need to change syllabus Good news is that only one grading then I'm ready to fight for black. So my black belt in early 2009 isn't unfeasable. Guess I'd better learn Japanese.

Cut

Cut going well still. Sitting at around 89kg at the moment. (5kg down in 2.5 weeks). But tired

Juice

No more jabs now, stopped prop a few days early (as I missed a jab so thought I'd leave it). So on winny/var only and PCT is looming

Chest, Biceps + Abs

Bench, 10,8@110kg
Inc bench - 90kg - 2 sets
Db bench - 45kg - 3 sets
pec dec - 2 sets
EZ curls 8,6,6,6@20kg + EZ bar
few crunches

Legs + Abs

Squats - 6@140kg, 5@170kg, 8,8,6@163kg
Calf rases - drop set - big
Crunches with leg raises

Tired ...

Weighed in at 88kg the other day - that's 6kg less than 3 weeks ago!

Back on the sunbeds and starting to look cut

Shoulders, Traps + Abs

deads - 6@220kg (singles), 8,6@220kg - easy, but felt sick
seated bb press - 5 sets
db side raises - 10,10,9@15kg - nearly straight arm
machine shrugs - 20@240kg

Feeling really good

i was due to do my yellow belt this week untill we found they ahd changed the syllabus !! now i have to do a full grading for the white belt !!!!

good thing is you can do them in your own club, for the last 3 -green/blue/brow just get another instructor down to the club

i know a fella thats been brown for ages - it seems fighting for black is no mean feat ,however WIFFERS can conquer all !!!!

Why you need to grade for white belt mate? Don't they give you that?

You can do them all in the club? Hey? We have 3 instructors, so you're saying we just need another one from a different club? Fcuk that, this means that anyone can be brown without proving themselves, no?

I'm OKay fighting for black, will be good fun

Diet good, looking more cut, probably like I was last summer, if not more so ... and really strong

So stronger and more cut then ever

Plus a week left of cutting. Top stuff

Thinking of starting weighted dips again as my shoulder is better

Back, Triceps + Abs

cg lat pull downs - 4x8 ... plus drop set on last one
seated lever rows - 4x6-8 ... plus drop set on last one
cg bench machine - 3 sets (last 8@150kg)
rope pull down - 2x8
tricep push down 3x8
crunches - various

Loving gym at the moment, and looking best ever

Don't want cycle to end

And I REALLY like the 4 week cut at the end of the 3 month bulk. I think it really adds to a cycle and I'll definately do it again, best of both worlds.

there are now 6 kyu:

white
yellow
orange
green
blue
brown

to be honest all of them just need you to learn whats on the syllabus and it gets more complicated as you go up , i could probably do the first 3 now.

yea, some guys at my club didnt want to fight so they are happy, all the way to brown.

lokks like your on a roll wiffers, u stiull with the same bird ??

Yes mate, still with same bird.

Look slike I'm second kyu now then - only one grading to go then I can fight again for black. So still on target for my black next year. Then will stop it and try another MA. No idea what yet tho.

Will get revising my theory

Got a copy of the syllabus mate?

Chest + Biceps

Opened up benching 7@115kg - then varied routine to dips and machines as no spotter. Dips felt good.

And What You've All Been Waiting For

Pics following my 3.5 week cut

Comments always appreciated
