They are - nice one - when and where is that mate?

Also, do we use the old or new belt system?

I.e. will I fight for upper blue (currently lower) or will I just be a blue fighting for brown?

Top stuff

Be good if the latter

well if you do 1 more fighting grade you would be goin for the upper blue - which would be transferred to blue under the new system (as would lower blue) so it wont make much difference but i was told that as its the last one thay are going to look with more generous eyes , so if its possible to jump more than one kyu, you may well be a brown boy.

the grading is @ st.helens mate, merseyside/cheshire border

400 mile round trip

Will think about that mate ... I may just go for a theory grading. The thing is I'd need to jump 2 kyus to make it worthwhile, otherwise pointless.

Saying that, a hug may swing it

Where you get this info from mate? Is there any close to my pad?

Last contest grading was 24.2.8

Don't I need to wait 3 months?

yea, its a helluva long way - esp if you can be certain to get what you need.

i found the details on the BJA website

still, if you only need to do the new scheme for the brown, it wont be too long befor your fighting for black !!

beast !!

PCT !! let the good times roll !! on to the next !!!!

wiffers , i grappled with a blackbelt last night and when i go up against one of 'them' i always get the feeling i would be mincemeat at any time of choosing, which is awsome !!!

i did make him tap out with a triangle choke but im guessing he was taking pity on me, great , great pity ! made me look good though, which was nice of him

your too big to take on the boar, you would fling me into the next county !!

I like fighting browns and blacks as it is more of a challenge. I can beat some blacks in a lighter category that myself, but not up to beating 90kg blacks yet.

You could be good mate - if we ever get the chance ...

PCT Going OK

Taking 40mg Nolva ED
50mg Clomid ED
6x tribulus
6x CEE (3g)
Plus ECA for workouts

Got acne a little, but only 2 spots and accutane keeping them down, although eye is puffy. But not that you'd notice, and I'd take my top off etc

Weight 14 stone and looking cut

Sun Tan

Also taking Melontan to get a tan, starting my first course 1mg EOD for 20 days, and hitting sunbed. The idea is that it will help my PCT libido and help acne

Chest + Biceps

Mixed it up, did incline bench (not flat) up to 110kg, then dips at BW + 50kg, really good

Legs + Abs

No spotter, so settled for 2x6@160kg, nice and slow and deep. Then extensions, then ab work, adding resistance

Lower Back, SHoulders, Traps

deads - 9@220kg (PB) , 4@240kg
bb shrugs - 140,180,220kg ... quite good
smith shoulder press - 5 sets
db side raises - 3 sets
various ab work

Feel strong

Hey mate

You say you train for looks rather than strength but a lot of your lifts are around the 6-4 rep range.

Do you not feel you'd have better gains around 8-10?

Most of my lifts are in the 6-8 range.

I do deadlifts occastionally low, to mix things up as it seems to make me grow faster.

I could do 8-10, but I don't enjoy it as much if I'm honest, and I believe that keeping it fun is the key - I like training heavy, I hate reps

Started to get stomach cramps, so ate bananas and fine. Had this before on ECA, so need to be careful. Shoulder a little sore as I tried (17.5kg) db front raises yesterday. So today I couldn't row, it twinged. Infact it inhibited my session a bit today

Back, Triceps, Abs, Neck

cg pull ups - 6 sets up to 5@45kg+BW, 8@35kg+BW
cg bench machine - 3 sets up to 8@140kg
tricep pull downs - 2 sets at 40kg
rope pull down crunches - 1x20 at 30kg (easy)
neck sling - 10@15kg slow

All in all, felt well. Back on bike again too, good warmup and good for cardio.

Happy bank holiday peeps!
