I know someone who was in a similar situation. Out with his g/f for her birthday, just the two of them, romantic evening. He ended up being beaten unconscious by 5 doormen, no reason. The g/f complained and kicked up a fuss, she also tried to get the police involved. There were several impartial witnesses, this happened in full public view in a moderately busy bar. ONE of the five doormen (the one who stamped his head when he was already unconscious) got suspended from his job. That doorman was back working there later that year. LOL.
