Yea, I must say the plates for me from the boys was their idea - NOT !!
also got a lord of the rings cup, nice cup 'o' tea !!

I now weigh 12stone 3.5 lb's (171.5 lb's) which is more than my 'befor pic' (went down to 11.4 after diet then took up the weights) I have put on fat but i believe a good portion of this is muscle, mabie 7 lb's ? the mirror tells me...jonny,you have a pair of breasts but you dont need a brasier.
and the mirror never lies, oh ,it also says i am a studmuffin.

re. squats...

there are many variations. a bodybuilding squat places more emphasis on the quads. i powerlift so my squat is with a wide stance and the bar low on my back which uses glutes and hams more. i always aim for ipf depth - hips below knees.

England have just equalised.

The dip frame is pretty good don - very strong, due to its structure lateral movement could deem it firewood very quickly but if i keep it strict - BONZER !!

Well as i trained earlier tonite this means the wife wasnt in bed when i finished - hence the progress pic !! (she thinks I slightly odd - take a pic take a pic !!)

I look bigger in this pic but please bear in mind - Itspost workout so i am pumped.
however compared to my first pic i look totally different I guess muscle memory, eating like a horse,15kg whey along with training my ass off for the last 3/4 months is paying off.

Definitely looking much bigger johnny - especially chest and traps. Your journal is a good read if i do say so myself and the homemade equipment is inspired lol

Just keep it up!

Thanks mas, i love my wooden gym !!

As you can see in the pics - I have a problem with my left collar bone, I dislocated it in a motorbike crash some years ago, I think this changes the attachment of the muscle, and looks slightly out of sync ,However this is somthing i have to work around and as with anything in life - godda make the best of it !!!

I might try some side lateral raises to bring on the middle bit of my shoulders

Thanks for the encouragment guys.

I have half a teaspoon of creatine a day - is that about 2.5 gm's ? I never knew that it helped retain water in the muscle, I am getting stronger so i am happy.

I am up to 100kg deadlifts 12/10/10/8
chins 12/9/7/5
B/O rows 70kg 14/12/10/10 (great form - yipskidoo)
E/z bar curls 35kg 12/10/10/8

Gonna start 2 weeks of M1T, I am gonna give it a whirl and what happens,happens........

what are my goals ?
keep training without injury
enjoy training and these forums for a long time to come
lift heavy with good form - always
16 inch guns would be nice !!
if i hit 13 stone with 20% BF befor christmas - this surely would be success, Remember - I was fairly big 8yrs ago (a lifetime!!)but my Bf was er......more that 20% !!! so i hopfully have a bit of muscle memory still in me !
will post any sides/gains if they happen.

I have just dug out my old weight training journals (94-97) and to be honest, I wasnt repping with as much as my memory told me ....ah the human memory, totally flawed !!!

8 reps with 140kg deadlift
10 reps 80kg bench
8 reps 110kg squat

So, I am not a million miles behind these lifts at the moment, jeeze my brain was convinced i was deading 200k !!

conclusive proof that JWB is a walter mitty type !!

Hey Jonny - nice progress pics!

I see elsewhere on the board you're gonna try the M1T - good luck - I hope it's better than MD lol ; btw I seem to recall recommended daily dose for creatine is 5mg - still if you're getting the results with half that it'll last a lot longer lol. (Creatine was yet another wonder sup that did sod all for me lol)

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Don,
I'm not concerned with sides - if i get some and i dont like them i will just stop, It aint that important to me , However I dont want my liver to fall out, in my un-educated opinion i am gonna do 10 mg for 2 weeks which should, should be Ok, then I might stretch to 3 if i have ZERO problems.
