Impossible to ay. If you've just started training then not too long hopefully. If not then there are so many variables it could be a few months it could be a year it could be longer.

0.5" in 6 months is pretty realistic IMO if your eating enough and your training is nailed.

Yeah its really hard to say - For instance I don't think that my biceps have got much bigger in a long while. I don't think I could put on half an inch in 6months but then I've been training for longer that you and am totally different.

bicep routine, well my biceps get hit while doing my back workout ofter that i normaly do seated curls,

this week i did this

17kg per arm 12 reps

18.5kg per arm 10 reps

22.5 per arm 7 reps

25.5kg per arm 5 reps

thats it for the biceps theres no need for loads of sets 4 sets is plenty imo

Train your forarms and triceps harder. And eat.

I would throw in some heavy barbell curls if you want your biceps to grow. When you get to the end of a set cheat out a couple more reps too.It seems that a lot of people dont advocate too much direct arm work these days because you work them during chest/back workouts.Speaking personally,my arms grew the most when I did plenty of heavy curls and heavy tricep presses.

I think peak has a lot to do with genetics and bodyfat levels, whereas thickness is just about piling mass on.

Like the guys said BB/DB curls are the most boring but tested method.

It's true to say that bicep peak is mainly down to genetics but there are exercises to maximise what you've got.Preacher curls are supposed to be good for peak, try barbells and/or dumbells.Arnies methods of trianing are pretty much outdated now,and the man was a genetic freak, but he swore that concentration curls were the best exercise for bicep peak, and let's face it,he had the best bicep peak of anyone who ever lived.

I agree with your first sentence, but disagree with the rest of it. You can maximize what you've got, for sure, but personally I don't think concentration curls or preacher curls will make a blind bit of difference over any other sort of curl.

I would give it 6 months, takes around 1 year to add an inch to your arms if natural imo

Maybe try hammer curls? For the last 2 months I have been using a hammer bar to curl and have noticed a difference in my bicep size.

Don't forget that bicep is only 35% of your arm. Tricep is a much bigger part.

i try saying this to the guys in the gym but yet they still opt for hitting such a small muscle with 4 exercises comprimising of 3-4 sets each.

And they wonder why they dont grow
