Tuesday 7th February Deadlifts 80kg - 1 x 8 120kg - 1 x 5 140kg - 3 x 5 !! Pleased with that Bent over rows - wide grip 60kg - 3 x 8 60kg - 3 x 7 Better than last week ! have to lift a lot less with a wider grip at the minute Didnt bother with any chins because the bar was surrounded by chavs !! tut tut and I felt like I was gonna puke after the deadlifts lol

Friday 10th February Squats 85kg - 1 x 5 115kg - 1 x 5 120kg - 1 x 5 125kg - 1 x 5 130kg - 1 x 5 135kg - 1 x 5 Barbell curls 40kg - 1 x 5,5,5,5,4 SLDL's 50kg - 3 x 5 Went light on these as not really done them before - it burns my hams are still sore and its monday morning !! Only doing three sessions this week due to committments like bloody valentines day Will cut out the speed bench day

Wednesday 15th February Flat heavy bench 60kg - 1 x 5 95kg - 5 x 3 Military press 40kg - 1 x 5 52.5kg - 1 x 5,5,4,3,4 Close grip bench ( smiths ) 40kg - 1 x 5 67.5kg - 1 x 5,5,5,5,3 Plate curls 2 x 5kg plates - 2 x 5 on each hand ( still a bit of a struggle but will up the weight soon )

Monday 20th February Light flat speed bench 40kg - 1 x 8 60kg - 5 x 15 ( although the last 5 reps on the last 2 sets wern't very speedy lol ) Incline bench 52.5kg - 3 x 8 Decline situps B/w - 1 x 12 B/w + 15kg - 2 x 12

lol ! tell me about it - one day i'll get the hang of these !! Not sure wether or not the speed bench day in this routine is beneficial or not ? I can't really knock it untill i'll tried it for a full 12 weeks Another dilema i'm having is squats !! I currently squat to parallel but don't know wether or not to start again ass to grass ?? will I ultimately get better and stronger through squatting that way or is there no real difference ??

Friday 24th February Squats 85kg - 1 x 5 115kg - 1 x 5 120kg - 1 x 5 125kg - 1 x 5 130kg - 1 x 5 137.5kg - F !! - 130 felt really heavy this week although I am goin below parallel now so its to be expected really ! not overly happy with form tbh - was squatting with light weights first to get it right - at the bottom position the bar seems to be over my toes rather than over my heels but I can't correct it at the minute !! barbell curls 42.5kg - 1 x 5,5,3,3,3 SLDL's 50kg - 1 x 6 80kg - 5 x 5 happier with these !

Tuesday 28th January Deadlifts 80kg - 1 x 5 120kg - 1 x 5 147.5kg - 3 x 5 Wide grip chins B/w - 5 x 3 ( ish ! lol ) Bent over rows 67.5kg - 5 x 5 !! Quite pleased with todays session - Deadlift is still going up and I can do more chins than when I started !

2nd March Heavy flat bench 60kg - 1 x 6 100kg - 1 x 3,3,2,2,1 DOH !! Military press 52.5kg - 1 x 5,5,4,3,3 Down on last week but the Benching was heavier Close grip bench ( Smiths ) 30kg - 1 x 6 67.5kg - 1 x 5,5,5,4,4 DOH - this was worse than last week aswell

Keep it tight. Also, remember big chest, head up and press yourself into the bar, that usually helps keeping the bar back and body upright.

Sat 4th March Squats 80kg - 1 x 5 110kg - 1 x 5 115kg - 1 x 5 120kg - 1 x 5 125kg - 1 x 5 Felt really heavy and almost failed on the last rep so didn't bother going to 130 ! Form was much better but lower back was aching loads during sets - May switch to Front squats for a while - any comments ? Are these as beneficial as I can nail the form with front squats ?? Babell curls 35kg - 1 x 5 42.5kg - 1 x 5,5,4,4,3 SLDL's 60kg - 1 x 5 85kg - 1 x 5,5,5,5,5 Oh and cheers Vegan will try that next week if I stick with back squats !

AAARRGGHHH ! Had loads of problems at work and i've not got home before 7 once this week !! so i've not been to the gym and tonight is going to be a late one again Might have this week off, might cut my losses and do Deadlifts and heavy bench on Thurs all depends on work really

Thurs 9th March A bit of a mixture of sessions today as I missed mon and tues out and I still want to do the big three this week !! Heavy flat bench 60kg - 1 x 5 80kg - 1 x 5 100kg - 5 x 3 !! Woah ! Military press 52.5kg - 1 x 4 WTF ! burnt out from benching 50kg - 1 x 5,5,3,3 Deadlift 100kg - 1 x 5 130kg - 1 x 5 150kg - 3 x 5 !! Pleased with that Will do my squat session on Sat instead of tonight because of deadlifting !
