Ok last week was crap only got to the gym once because had some real problems with work and was doing 12-13 hr days - oh the joy ! lol Tuesday 16th May Flat barbell bench 60kg - 1 x 8 80kg - 1 x 6 92.5kg - 1 x 6,6,5,3 Better than last week ! Weighted Dips B/w - 1 x 5 B/w + 10kg - 1 x 5 B/w + 20kg - 1 x 5,5,5,4,3 Decline Sit ups B/w - 1 x 15 B/w + 10kg - 1 x 15 Close grip bench ( smiths ) 55kg - 3 x 6 Not bad really - bench is coming back up again

Why the Smith Machine for Close Grip mate? Do you feel particularly unstable with that exercise?

Wednesday 17th May Squats 60kg - 1 x 6 90kg - 1 x 6 125kg - 5 x 5 D/b curls 20kg - 5 x 5 Leg curls giving up on the SLDL's for a few weeks as back was playing up - plan to go back on them in a month or two ! 45kg - 3 x 8 MB - no mate I started big Als routine a few months ago and it was in that and I've just stuck with it for the time being - I do find though that after a chest session the Smiths does isolate the triceps quite well - i'll prob switch to skulls in few weeks

Saturday 27th May Deadlifts 60kg - 1 x 10 80kg - 1 x 6 100kg - 1 x 4 120kg - 1 x 2 130kg - 1 x 1 140kg - 1 x 1 150kg - 1 x 2 Really pissed off with deads - In March I was doing 3 x 5 with 152.5kg then I had a week off and stupidly went straight back tp 152.5kg thinking it has ONLY been a week and injured my back then I went light for a month or more and tried working back up to what I had been doing now today I've been getting a back twinge aswell which can be quite painful during the movement but otherwise feels normal ? ? Dont know wether to take 2 months off deads alltogether or keep trying ( and possibly aggrivating ) my lower back ?? Any ideas, recommendations ? ? Military press ( with belt ) 40kg - 1 x 5 50kg - 1 x 5 60kg - 1 x 4,3,3 50kg - 2 x 5 Bent over rows 60kg - 1 x 5 85kg - 3 x 5 no more just disheartened with the whole back thing

Monday 19th June Bench press 60kg - 1 x 5 85kg - 1 x 4 100kg - 1 x 6,6,6,5 Weighted Dips B/w - 1 x 5 B/w + 12.5kg - 1 x 5 B/w + 25kg - 3 x 5 Close grip bench 50kg - 1 x 5 75kg - 3 x 5 Thought i'd add in a typical days diet aswell so if anyone has got any comments they would be much appreciated ! 7.00am - 40g whey in water 7.30am - 3 scrammbled eggs or peanut butter on toast 10.30am - chicken breast and 50g of wholemeal pasta + apple 1.30pm - chickem breast and 50g of wholemeal pasta + apple 4.30pm - chicken breast and 50g of wholemeal pasta + banana 6.00pm - peanut butter sandwich + banana PWO - 40g whey and 40g of Dextrose in water 9.00pm - chicken and potatoes/rice etc.. ( evening meal ) Lots and lots of water throughout day !! Did used to have a tub of cottage cheese before bed aswell but havent been bothering recently ! If anybody has any views i'd be interested
