yeah, well, seeing as I only ever do singles for deads, just about every deading session is a PB attempt of sorts. be it best since last week, best in the last 6 months, or all time best.
maybe should go for a few doubles/triples, give myself a leedle rest from the max effort stuff.
I will.
210 for a double next week, triple week after, 215 for a double...etc. once I can triple 230.....

mon 5th may

MP: 50x5, 70x3, 90 3x3, 75 2x5

as usual, found it tricky to get back into the flow of pressing for reps, first 2 worksets had to give a bit of a pushpress to get the last rep, got my shizzle back together and pressed the last set nice and strict..
just realised, I forgot to put my elbow sleeves on today which probably contributed a bit to my "offness" and why my 'bows are feeling slightly fragile now
overall, reasonable sesson.

squat: 75x5, 110x3, 130x2, 150x2, 170x2 , 180x2PB easy!


grr, still feeling too to triple 170.
on the other hand, I'm getting quite good at doubles

ps. I didn't have the time* for drop sets, honest.

FBBB: 50x5, 70x4, 90x3, 110x2, 120x2, 130x2, 100x6

not great, but not too bad either. at least I know behind the pain, the strength is still there. might have tripled 130 for an =PB if I hadn't banged the bar off the pins on the second rep, so that's reassuring. practised letting the tension out of my chest and shoulders reaaally slowly, which seemed to help with the pain. was still pretty sore after the 100s so called it quits for the day.

You do seem to have gone from not doing any to doing rather a lot though

deadlift: 90x2, 130, 170, 210x3PB

fook me, that was hard! last rep was hitched a bit, but not much.
IIRC my previous best dead for reps was 170x3(!), so woo hoo for me

no big improvement, at least the 90s were all strict this week. 75s up a couple reps.
added a light dropset using a wider than usual grip, just for a bit of variety and pumpitude
