so after seeing a lot of people recommending milk thistle for pct, and how great it is for the liver, i started taking 4 x 350 mg Sona Milk thistle capsules, as i have a blood test soon and cant go on a course of treatment if my lft results dont pass but, does it really work ive read countless articles of studies conducted and the majority say there that there are no significant benefits any views????

I've yet to see a clinical trial - not to say that there isn't one but I've not seen it....and I assume had there been one that proved anything it's be a registered medication rather than a tree hugging supplement Having said that, I own some and take it when on orals - at very worst it's useless at best it may have some benefit for the liver.

I have been looking for an official article for some time now and have yet to find one. I doubt I will use it again until something conclusive is compiled. Just another expense to an already costly cycle IMO.

^^ yeah, for the price per tablet, afew pence, id rather take it and think its helping rather than not taking it and later find it does actually work.

MHRA has it registered as a medicinal herb which means it is subject to certain compliance conditions , usually indicates there is something in it Wurz

thanks for the replies peeps as for answering my own question.... i thought that its quite possible that someone with more experience or knowledge about the product might have seen or know about studies that proved it is as good as people think, and i was just looking in the wrong place
