PartyBoy Not going to happen http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/fb.ashx?m=4645702 Once we receive contact from the competitor and they can confirm that they're trading and also the quality of the product is true, then we will once again price beat the product. Kind Regards, MP How do they do this? Do they pose as a customer and how do they confirm the quality? Ask who their supplier is and ask for invoices lol or order some and get it tested? That said, I did hear protein247 were closing down.

Yes protein247 sent round emails saying they were ceasing to trade, there were also some suspicions about the quality of their product, although unconfirmed, suspicions justified with i'll add. There is another thread only a couple months old that explains more.

I've made a commitment not to price match again, I'm going to suck it up and go with the company offering the deal.

Basically several (so more than one) companies product has not proven to be what it claimed, or was not the same (so not 'like for like'), or was on special offer etc etc. At, as the saying goes, the end of the day MP has to make money to stay in business.

oasis I've made a commitment not to price match again, I'm going to suck it up and go with the company offering the deal. Great post . Me to , ive done the price match before but ive thought about it and id rather go with the company thats doing the deal unless I cant see some proof on the qualty of goods or hear some good feeback.Protein247 was a good example as it was all to cloudy for me. Ive got nothing against MP at all most of my supps are MP anyway but soon all other companies will be out of business and MP will be able to charge what they want. MP do great deals themselves and great products, which ill keep buying if the customer service keeps up but ill be trying to buy from the company doing the deal.

This. You'd ALMOST think we were living in a market driven economy where vendors were allowed to determine the terms upon and price at which they supply goods. F.uck it I'm off to North Korea to get my supps in future

The pricematcher doesn't sway my buying decision. I tend to order from our sponsors in rough rotation since I think all of them are deserving of support. Let's face it, whichever bulk supplier we choose, we're gonna get a pretty decent deal compared to Joe Public who perhaps doesn't know about forums/bulk suppliers and just buys "big brands". That's not to say I don't pricematch if I use myprotein. It's there, so I'd be a fool not to use it! Sometimes I think folk get so caught up in the "I absolutely must get the cheapest deal" when maybe the difference for their order from each of the bulks might be less than what my missus blows having her skinny latte at Costa! Perspective required sometimes
