need a lil bit of help regarding getting things for my diet

Right summertime is over meaning no more booze, pizza, ice cream blah blah and time to give the old gut the heave ho! Also I apologize if this is the wrong section. Anyhow, I have the majority of my diet planned and mainly looking for places to get a few things. First off oats.. is there a huge difference in quality? Like the supermarket ones are fairly cheap, are they decent enough to have with weight loss in mind? Are Cashew nuts a good form of EFAs? I've ordered a good fish oil supp and generally have fish once a day but for other inbetween meals, are cashews ok? They're just waaaay too nice to be healthy! Also does anyone know a good place I can bulk order cashews from or other nuts? I've heard that you can get healthy peanut butter.. this is a huge revelation for me as I LOVE the stuff.. i'm assuming stuff like sunpat is considered unhealthy.. can anyone point me in the direction of healthy varieties? My only other problem i'm finding is fitting enough food in to get to my daily calories intake.. anyone got some good suggestions for good healthy acceptable foods for weight loss that are high calories?

Regular supermarket oats are fine mate, personally I like readybrek because it filely milled and mixes easy with whey protein or milk, or water...whatever you want really. Cashews are rich in EFA's but very calorie dense so dont go OTT on them if trying to cut weight! Natural peanut butter is best, available from any suopermarket

Pasta springs to mind! A good hearty bowl of pasta. Great carbs, and oooh so good for you. Get yourself some mushroom sauce if you're liking mushrooms. Can't go wrong!

Can you eat fish? some makeral or salmon would increase your EFA's in your diet. Cashew nuts arnt bad, walnuts would be better, but these need to be refridgerated. http://www.hbsfoods.co.uk/acatalog/index.htm Very cheap for nuts. You might want to look into Flaxseed aswell, good source of omega 3
