Now, Im not expecting this thread to set MT alight but im trying to convert some .pdf (or indeed .tiff) files to CMYK ready for printing ,im not sure if its neccassary as the printing firm may do it for me? , but id like to know if it can be done ?
 
i use fireworks 4 ,so not exactly a desktop publishing programme
 
the pdf converter i use doesnt seem to offer the service and one i downloaded says it does ...but it wont work !

      See if Desmo can advise on what you currently have mate if not I've got a decent Adobe set up so should be able to sort it.
      Is it for the Winter Giants comp stuff you're working on?

        yea 40 mate - i thought i could just bang our some images and the printers would print em !!

        but there are a few print requirements !!

          Dont bother its a peice of piss to do in Photo shop leave it from the to convert them , jsut mention to them, its no big deal, more for their own colour spacing when printing.

              Yea best too, they will convert them to the profile of the printer which only they have.

                Aye, most printers will be happy to sort it for you

                If not, you can pop it over to me on Monday and I'll convert it at work and fire back a CMYK version. At least it heads you in the right direction.
