post workout shake on cardio days question 30 October 2009 17:27 (permalink)
should I keep the protein intake the same as I do on my weight lifting days?

note:

I do intense cardio, usually about 30-45 mins

I usually take 2 scoops of whey and about 2 scoops of dextrose on my weight lifting days

is your cardio the same as your weights workout in terms of what it does to the muscle?

or another way - no - not the same.

Your tailor what you do to your recovery needs - personally if you are cardio training for fitness then you would have a small amount of simple sugar in water to replenish.
If you train for fat loss then you have nowt.
