Papa Lazarou Glad you know what weight to aim for - i've got my height counting against me and I feel i'm heavy for my slim look - puts me up against the bigger chaps i thought you were doing a nabba show mate? where the categorys are in height? or are you doing a ukbff show now? either way, you will look great on stage mate, and are definately ready for it! one thing i did lear, this year, is just diet down, and be whatever you are when your ready! Ive made the decision to move up a weight class so im talking about weight, but im not all that bothered what i end up, as long as its bigger and leaner than this year!

Likely to put off Nabba so I can bulk hard until tail end of next year and come in big and cut perhpas do UKBFF. I'm off AAS until end of Jan so I won't look my best if I go straight into a cut after a none assisted bulk (well in reality maintain).

chest tonight, good session, but chest had so much more to give, hampered by shoulders, which arent playing at the moment, looks like a routine change is in order to prevent further injury and a possible layoff. DB incline press 20kgx20 30kgx18 47.5kgx14 47.5kgx12 47.5kgx9 30kgx2 flys 3 sets of 10kg (light and slow, shoulder doesnt really like flys) flat bench 100kgx15 120kgx12 120kgx10 100kgx15 60kgx18 Tricep pushdowns cant remember what i did, but it was lot of sets and lots of reps. again though, hapered by shoulder pain. and back of the tris was a bit sore from stiff arm pusdowns on back day wednesday.

Keeping the BF% low overall and some thick tris there mate . I think you have more muscle fullness and roundness post show. Which i think is down to the rebound growth after the show . Welldone Daz

hi mate, how long has youre current cycle been? reason i ask is that you said in another thread that you like 8 week cycles for recovery but as youve done a show diet and rebound surely youve been on longer? do you feel your going to lose size coming off?

But for most people time on and off is definately the best way. but that is such a TINY part of the picture, that i havent been putting details in my journal, and will continue not to do so. people can make assumptions if they like, but i dont use alot of stuff. cutting for my show for example, involved no fat burners or stimulants. sorry i havent been more specific mate

fair enough mate im not so bothered about specific doses as its all relative anyway. wil most people who compete stay on for say 9 months off for three and repeat? also what do you feel previously was key to maintaining gains between cycles? did you lower volume when strength begins to inevitably drop?

TBH Swift I have found my strength has stayed the same since I came off. I was actually thinking the other day it is like that; When smaller the water that steroids make you hold makes the muscle I dunno, 10-20% bigger. When you come off, the water drops. Because a massive amount of water drops so does the strength. When bigger, you muscle %age will be higher so the water size increase is much smaller as the %age of the muscle that is made up with water is smaller. Thats my thinking anyway.

But i dont suffer water retention like alot, and i control it if there is any. as long as your working the muscle then a drop in strenth coming off cycle wont cause muscle loss imo, your still giving it maximum stimulous at the end of the day. losses are water, people way over estimate how much they can and do gain per cycle. 3-4lbs muscle from 10-12 weeks would in my opinion be good gains.

fair enough papa maybe because youve been at a good strength for a while its more keepable? when ive been on cycle 2 plates each side for 10 plus reps on bench is really quite easy . ive been off ages now i can just about hit the same weights maybe a few reps shy but the weights definately feel alot heavier. tbf im working away from home so diet could be better but its certainly not terrible.
