not really sure what uni mate, have aapplied for Portsmouth Nottingham Leeds Birmingham Derby Where abouts are you studying at? Yeah found college to be good for the sunject and got DD so all geared up for uni @ sports science i hope! I looked for a job ina gym too, but nothing really came around so just stuck with part time which is my plan for the rest of the year as love my time off too much lol. As for classes just teach a mixture of circuit training and cardio session, varies from lesson to lesson really, money is ok i do 4 classes a week and get around £75/£80 for that work, sometimes mroe sometimes less depending on the numbers that show, but no costs as run them in my local park and had a little advertising cost to get clients, but figured it isnt worth advertising in the winter really! My idea was to work as a PT too, but the industry although at times rewarding can also be frustrating, especially when clients cancel and a lot of the time dont put effort in and have rubbish diets then wonder why theyre not losing the weight they want to, only so much i can do for them. Hence why i want to do the degree as gives me other options as well as the time @ uni. Would however consider becoming a PTI and teaching in the army later on though, got a fair few friends joining the army and say being a PTI great so looking into it a lot.

I applied for Birm but needed a DDD, when i found out they didnt accept me i was very upset as i was confident i would get in as that is what i really wanted it broke me that day, i was looking at nottingham too i wish i would of applied for birm then nottingham casue i would be at nottingham right now instead of belfast. Studying an hour away from home in belfast now mate. Uni in belfast is fine but i really wanted to go to eng. 75/80 for 4 classes is good mate :D Classs you done this off your own bat, i thought you done the classes in a gym, i admire that mate, your giving me ideas now. What did you say on your advertisement and all? Yeah nowadays you need to be a PT and more, eg know how to run classes, sports massage, etc.

i started advertising back in march, after i passed and gave the whole talk about getting in better shape for summer, feeling more fit and healthy, fun exercise classes different to normal standard running etc. Used to be on around £100 throuhg the summer but with colder/wetter weather then numbers tend to drop (annoyingly but expectedly) but is all proft and not earning enough for tax so basically all gets spent on what i want to spend it on, pretty much some food and alcohol and a few clothes here and there lol. Looked into doing loads of other areas too, but think uni is best option for now so defo going there, providing i get a place, dont think ill get birmingham or leeds though as need good grades for those and only really got grades in sports science and not much else, nottingham is my preference though tbh, then other 4 are pretty much joint 2nd so will see what comes along, sent off applications already so just wait and see. 1hour is a pretyt tough travel to do every so often! Will be staying in student accomodation wherever i go so shouldnt be too bad travelling wise, hopefully anyway. Had a pizza follwod by some chocolate bites for dinner, so much for the healthy option! About to head to bed with normal pre-bed protein shake and nothing to get up for so a good lye in is in order!

So you advertised then basically set up a meeting were everyone turned up and you gave them a talk, then if they were happy they started coming regularly? Yeah i know what you mean about numbers dropping becasue of the weather, thats a very smart idea what you did, the way you saved costs by doing it in the park and all. Yeah no doubt birm hard to get into, but they have very high standards for sport and are recognised when seeking employment, mind you my uni of ulster is well recognised too so its all good. Pretty much in mon/tues and thur mate, off on wed, i stay in belfast mon/tues/wed/ and travel back via train on thur after class, then come back up ont he train on monday morning. I applied too late for student accom and didnt get any but they have got me a space now and im moving in on the 26th with other students thanks fook, in a flat with a middle aged women atm lol What do you mean unhealthy pizza has lots of calories and protein ;) lol

is actual green tea mate, not sure if it actually helps at all, read a fair bit into it and is meant to help fat loss or whatever, not sure if it does but also has antioxidants plus the fact i now love the taste and bar alocohlic drinks is my favourite drink so cant be bad taking 3/4cups a day i guess. As for the classes basically told people they could come to a trial lesson for free and see if they liked it and then could carry it on further if they so wished, 95% of which did carry on so quite good on that account really. Good that youve got student accomodation though, will make it a whole lot easier, fortunately ive been out of education for just over a year, will be 2 when i go to uni so as soon as i get my replies i can accept the offer i want and sort it all out early rather than have to wait for results so should be all good (i hope)

Just downed some plain green tea, doesnt taste that bad, very subtle taste nothing too strong. Would prob taste better with flavour. It says on the packet 250mg tea antioxodants per 200ml, i had a 200ml cup of boiled water with the green tea. So would i need a few of these a day for it to be effective i take it?

yeah mate 2/3 cups a day is what i am for, just via recommnedations so stick with that, sometimes drink more as i said i love the drink so no problem for me to drink it either. Yeah plain is quite bland, therefore i went to flavoured with lemon and never looked back really, tastes gorgeous, best one is probably the pg tips range imo. Pretty simple weekend really, average eating with a few good meals and a few bad ones, along with another saturday night drinking. Although did manage a 3.5mile run with 100press-ups and 100 crunches thrown in for good measure on saturday afternoon, so not a too bad a weekend really, when compared to normal anyway!

Was researching abit on green tea mate, just thought i would post this up as you might be interested - Research by Japanese and other researchers(1) suggest that if the average person were to drink five cups of green tea a day, they would burn an extra 70 to 80 extra calories through an effect known as thermogenesis - the process of heat production in organisms. While much of the thermogenesis effect in green tea is derived from caffeine, studies also suggest(2) that thermogenesis in green tea occurs to some degree beyond its caffeine content from epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG.) Regardless, 70-80 calories per day does not quite come close to the 500 calorie deficit needed per day to lose a pound a week, and for sure it's nowhere close to the calorie deficit needed to lose "inches per week" from one's waistline as some green tea web sites would have consumers believe. According to the research, if a person were to change nothing outside of adding five cups of green tea to their diet per day, then over the course of 43 days one could expect to lose 1 pound. Over the period of one year, one could expect a loss of about 8 pounds. Yes, there is some correlation between green tea and weight loss, unfortunately it's not on the level many would have you believe. Clearly, drinking green tea alone is not going to be satisfactory for significant weight loss. Still, green tea can still be quite useful as a weight loss aid. The extra 80 calories per day can be just what a person needs to tip the scale from a calorie surplus to a calorie deficit, especially when following a balanced nutrition and exercise regime. http://www.o-cha.com/green-tea-weight-loss.htm I wouldnt be drinking five cups a day for 70/80 cal lol might stop taking it now instead of wasting money as i dont think it will help as much as i thought. I also found a study that states thermogenesis effects of green tea are greater than that of caffeine (however the study didnt state how much caffeine was used but stated the green tea they used contained 90mg EGCG and 50mg caffeine, also they didnt mention how many servings either), apparantly green tea also promotes fat burning and reduces absorption and storage of fat. In future if i use green tea to cut im going to go for Mp's caps which are far stronger.

cheers banksy. Ice, good little read cheers, i also take it for the added benefit of the anti-oxidants within, and also the fact i do love the taste too so is a refreshing drink really and not too much more than normal tea in price. Updates from today. 6am - get up - Exercise class 7.30am - bowl of porridge + 3 weetabix + protein shake + green tea 10am - Tin tuna + banana 11am - run to gym (1.5miles) Train Chest/Shoulders/Triceps Felt absolutely knackered after running to the gym so wasnt lifting quite as much as usual, but in the end made it an extremely difficult workout. Bench press 1x10 (80kg) 2x8(80kg) Incline press 3x8 (80kg) Chest flyes 3x12 (15kg) Dumbell shoulder press 3x10 (25kg) Shrugs 1x10 (25kg) 1x15 (25kg) 1x20 (25kg) Rear delt raise supersetted with front raise 3x8 (of each @ 10kg) - increase from 8.5kg - was tough but felt a lot better. Skull crushers supersetted with CGBP 3x10 (of each @ 35kg) - again slight weight increase although by end of 3rd set was dying and gald to finish the workout. Couldnt face the run home so walked it. 50g whey 1pm - Banana 2pm - Chicken salad sandwhich x2 3pm - 3 weetabix + bowl muesli got a couple more hours sleep 6pm - Pasta + bacon + mushrooms + green tea. Will get in another protein shake before heading out for the evening, been ages since heading out on a tuesday so said id make the trek.
