Yes it was the same Luke Bagster as I was there myself.
I know he dropped down from the 80's to inters, but did look
very good indeed.

Yeah man that was me last year in the under 80's, i dont like to mention that competition because I looked so out of condition. This year was a different story, next year will be a bigger & better Luke Bagster (u90)

Yes it's the same Luke Bagster as I was competing in the same class.
He dropped down to the inters this year.
Not sure what I think about that.
They have said it wasn't him, but it 100% guarenteed was the same bloke!

Yeah Malika, i do agree that there is a limit to how far is deemed acceptable. In my case though, i didnt even actually pull them up, they just rode up a little naturally through posing

Fair enough Steve, happens all the time, but when a competitor do it intentionnaly I find it inapropriate, that's all...

Personally I feel if a bodybuilder had got condition, he should show it off.

I do agree with you James, but a competitor do not have to pull his brief right up to show it does he?

He might as well wear a G-string lol

about showing your striated glutes, there's "showing" & "showing".

I find it very vulgare for a bodybuilder to pull his brief right up on stage, & I can tell you that I'm not the only female spectator at the British who felt the same...

James Flex Lewis do not need to do this to show his conditioned glutes, neither James Llewellin...

But Zack Khan did.

Personally I feel if a bodybuilder had got condition, he should show it off. However, rules are rules; as long as they are enforced fairly.

I have been to few ukbff qualifiers & I do know the judges don't like it as several times some competitors who did it were told about it.

yeah Dazc, i was one of those competitors that were told to re-position my posing trunks! I think the word "wedgy" was used! lol

When your glutes are striating you want to show that a little, but if the rules state that the glutes must be covered then unfortunatley we have to obey!

james, fantastic, and very personal write up mate. I dont think ive ever read anything like it about bodybuilding before. very enjoyable, though parts were rather sad.

I was gutted when daz placed third, so cant even begin to imagine what it was like for him or those closest to him!

the covered glutes thing was very unfair, the announcer had told at least 2 competitors that i saw to reposition their trunks during the days.

With Luke out I'm now shouting for my mate Lee Spencer from Ripped Gym in Harlow - top bloke who, I'll be completely honest, 5 weeks ago, was not going to make it in time - but I said to him 'if you knuckle down and go for it, you can still do it'. He has obviously more than knuckled down. He's up there in the running.

Lee is who i am routing for, i used to chat to him when he trained at monster, top bloke and some very good genetics i am sure he could go a very long way.

What are his legs like, i remember seeing him squatting 180kg ATG aand that was only his 5th time trainign legs in the previous 8 months.

James - thanks for the support with Lee, much appreciated. Was good to see you. Also dissapointed about the place but we'll see how he gets on this weekend. Thanks again. michelle
