(rokkus3)

sorry, don't think i really answered your question there.

i obviously prefer these tren(ish) compounds and have had them recommended to me for cutting by several people in the past.

i am in the middle of an 8week body recomp at the mo. first 4 weeks i just went strength training (v.heavy weights, low reps) with maybe 20min cardio at end of sesh, training 3days on 3days off.

the next 4 weeks (started today) i'm training 5days/wk one body part/day. 45min fat burn in am, 50min weight sesh in pm. focusing on 5-6 sets of progressive weights per exercise, starting low weight working up to what i maxed after first 4weeks.

my diet has been and will continue to be around 2500kcal with any extra cals coming on particularly heavy days in the form of extra protein & complex carb (or maybe a few jelly babies/choccy digestive right after weight session!).

i already weigh over 200lbs with bodyfat around 15%. weight increase in 4weeks has been 4kg with no increase in bodyfat so i reckon i can keep around the same weight whilst dropping a coupld % bf over next month with this increased cardio!

i also have no problem doing cardio on 160-200mg xmass, any back pumps i counter by necking straight 6-7g of taurine at intervals throughout the day. no problems with bp at all throughout last 4weeks tho i do eat a very clean diet anyway (plus stopped smoking & drinking every wkend!).

hmm, a lot of waffle there, sorry for that but i hope that gives you some insight into what's working for me and what could work for you. good luck
Re:Keeping strength and mass gains during a cut, which OTS Steroid is best? More infor on it here:

http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/article-otc-steroids.aspx

did it help with explosiveness and power? whats the strength gains like with it?

im looking to do something but still stick to my mma training and get more explosive

Yes, I noticed decent strength increases - as for power....it'd be hard to analyse. My boxing stayed consistant - speed, power on bag etc. I don't (tbh) think maximal strength has that great an impact on punching power personally...imo it's much more about speed, leverages and balance.

Where you'll find that additional strength useful is:

- in grappling
- in clinche work

For explosiveness alone, the best thing you can do is plyometrics from experience. Doing sprint work makes my squatting & bag work both more explosive in a relatively rapid period of time (i.e. I notice it within a month)!

yes i agree strength and power are completely different.

i might give it a try, im looking for a bit extra strength without to much size gain as im around ten pounds over my weight class already and thats fine for me.

i do sprint/run and plyo work, i read that h-drol increases endurance so thought it could help me threw them harder and faster thus making me more explosive. i guess i could try and see
Re:Keeping strength and mass gains during a cut, which OTS Steroid is best? (rokkus3)

rather than cutting why not go for body recomposition?

i've been doing this with tren substances (19-nor/x-mass).

keep my diet nice and clean, up protein and carbs slightly (roughly 250g each) fats stay about the same (50g ish) but instead of doing 3day splits i train a body part/day mon-fri cardio in the morning, weights early eve.

after cycle will go back to my 3day split and train with descending weights (heavy/low rep - light/high rep), cardio tues/weds and one day on the wkend.

i found this method keeps fat off and gains on, although i don't think i let it slip on my shoulders and lost quite a but of strength there.
Re:Keeping strength and mass gains during a cut, which OTS Steroid is best? If it's a month shouldn't be an issue with using a prohormone and keeping strength (usual cycle length give or take a few weeks. Keeping the body in a fed state will obviously promote whole body anabolism and optimised levels of endogenous hormones such as leptin, testosterone, GH, thyroid etc BUT going on a prohormone will, in many instances, more than offset the decline in strength you would normally expect dieting.

Fwiw, I have personally dieted and, depending on the training parameters being targeted managed to increase strength and certainly power output and all without use of hormonal supplements.

I would caution people against giving up on maintaining strength on a cut when training naturally, let alone when on cycle. There is simply no need to be so defeatist!
Re:Keeping strength and mass gains during a cut, which OTS Steroid is best?
