(ControlYourDog)

I was thinking about seeing a doctor but I figured he might fob me off and tell me to allow time to heal it like he does each time I pay him a visit with a problem. Ill book an appointment. Would a sports injury clinic help?

Thanks.
Re:If Ive damaged a muscle in my upper back which specialist should I see? (fun meter)

You can get reffered by your doctors to see a muscloskeletal specialist. Then go from there (them, physio / osteo or a worst case see a consultant).

Im no expert, but sounds a bit like a nerve. A strain would have sorted itself out by now. A sports massage on the area may be worth considering if pressure doesnt hurt.

If Ive damaged a muscle in my upper back which specialist should I see? (ControlYourDog)

I injured my traps from performing shrugs incorrectly about 5 months ago. Like a muppet I still trained through thinking close grip pull downs didnt hit the traps so hard.

I stopped training my back about 4 weeks ago and went to see a chiropractor. She said is was just sore and inflammed and to take a few weeks off the gym and put ice on it.

Now it just feels worse and its spread to my lats and neck. Im thinking a chiropractor is not the right person too see, as they deal with joints but this only just occured to me.
