(StillBulking)

About £100/month. For oats, protein powders (whey, PWO and prebed), and preworkout formulas. Spend much more on meats for the month though!

I have no problem with this as it's something I enjoy buying/using and feel I get long term value from it. £1000/year is nothing for the amount of value I get out of it - compared to my ****ing rent/car/uni fees which total close to £10k/year.
Re:How much money do you spend on body building supplements each month? I think it's important to understand that supplement means in addition not a replacement.

I eat lots of eggs, chicken and tuna and sometimes steak.

I train at home 3 times a week and my 18" arms are an indicator I must be doing at least something about right. I'm 5'11, 14 stone and 40 years old.

I don't want to give the wrong impression as I'm not one for measurements and I only know my arm size as my wife measured them when she was measuring my wrist in preparation for a new oversized watch.
My indication of progress is my wardrobe, i've gone up 2 shirt sizes since I began.

training a year and you have 18" arms at 14st and your wife measured them!? i bet you have a 12" co(k too and she measured that! lol
Re:How much money do you spend on body building supplements each month? Hard to tell though as I bulk buy to save money in the long run.

Yeah I also bulk buy, and tend to spend around the same as you mate, £100 per month.
I suppose when you compare it other things that we spend our money on, in th grand scheme of things it's not actually that bad. Could have a night on the beer which would cost £100, and tht certainly aint gonna give us any nutrients!

Ha yer, a night out in London is close to £100. On cycle now and from just not drinking I've paid off my credit card so sups really are a minor expense. I would even say going on cycle, not drinking and buying sh*t loads of sups to really make it an awesome cycle is still cheaper than just buying a few and drinking!
Re:How much money do you spend on body building supplements each month? I personally think that there are only a handful of supps that are worth spending money on.

As far as protein powders go though (and I assume that this what takes up most of our money for supps) it is a completely necessary supplement for 99% of us, as making/eating a meal with high protein content every 2-3 hours, just doesnt fit into most ppls lives, and as Thaifighter said, it would most likely cost a lot more to do it that whey (see what I did there :-p ).
