But like I said before, taking casein before your ZMA will block the effectiveness (certainly of the zinc) - so take the ZMA a reasonable amount of time before the casein.
Re:Pre-bed drink (monster supplements)

Zinc 30mg Magnesium 450mg should be sufficient. you can increase that if you are a big guy but keep same ratio.
Re:Pre-bed drink (82porter)

what dose of zma before bed do you guys recommend?

Re:Pre-bed drink (smooth11114)

MP bedtime extreme. been using it for months and really rate it. There are quite afew brands that really stand out from the rest, one of which has worked they're magic and been able to add ingredients like HMB without sacrificing taste. Others have included Flaxseed which will slow protein absorption down even futher. There are some cracking pre-bed blends on the market now a days.

Jindlay; I know what you mean about the white chocolate, i couldnt quite decide whether i liked it or not. White chocolate is probably the hardest flavour for any supplement company to get right and produce, hence thats why theres hardly any white chocolate flavoured products on the market. Think PhD have done a good job, but again, its a hard flavour to master and not to everyones taste

Re:Pre-bed drink (Deep Blue Supplements)

If you go for both ZMA and a casein drink make sure you space them out a bit, as calcium blocks the absorption of many micro-nutrients (in this case zinc and magnesium) - so you would get the beneficial effects of the casein but not the full effects of ZMA.
Re:Pre-bed drink (makaveli1971 1996)

 Boditronics midnight express.

Contains Micellar casein other proteins HMB L-Glutamine flax seed oil.

And tastes pretty good.

You should go with this imo.

Re:Pre-bed drink (jindlay)

DONT get 6HR in white choc, it's nothing like it whatsoever.

Re:Pre-bed drink (Captain T)

Cheers guys, that phd pharma 6hr blend seems worth a shout.

Any other brands?
Re:Pre-bed drink (jindlay)

I used Phd pharma blend 6hr with a little taurine.

Now I use Dorian Yates Protein.
Re:Pre-bed drink (Wilks)

 Milk?

I have quark pre-bed. Sometimes followed by a glass of milk.

Re:Pre-bed drink (monster supplements)

40g casein before bed is what i would recommend. ive found stacking it with ZMA actually works well for me.
Re:Pre-bed drink (Lex_300)

For pre-bed casein options are always a good bet.
