Fck that noise Reborn! haha

Been to every type of medical professional you can imagine, so my MRI on Monday is my last resort in terms of finding a professional solution.

Been told its everything from spinal damage to bad posture.

Ive tried various foam rollers (decent relief for an hour or so) and other variations like 2 tennis balls in a sock etc, but my real issue is sleeping at night.

I can get to sleep but if i wake in the middle of the night im in agony.....and the morning give a whole new meaning to pain.

When you add in the cost of the hand crafted iron frame then its a very very expensive bed.

One of her better purchases though.
Re:FAO: Those with bad upper backs / necks (Integra)

Had the same problem and have just had a MR scan.

The scan should be your first port of call before going anywhere else imo. Learned this the hard way.

Re:FAO: Those with bad upper backs / necks (TheGunslinger)

1100 quid? The relief once it goes is better than sneezing!

As for my back, I have to bend over the banister backwords and sort of jolt my body into it to relieve the pain, have to do this before any workout too as otherwise my back doesnt feel solid.

im screwed

Re:FAO: Those with bad upper backs / necks (CoNs)

yes i have one of they mattresses, much help :)

i also use a foam roller, really helps my back and helps get a good night sleep
Re:FAO: Those with bad upper backs / necks (Cardifflad)

My ex missus bought a foam thing that you put over your mattress, moulds to your body. That helped her mate.
FAO: Those with bad upper backs / necks (TheGunslinger)
Hoping for some help here :)

For those of you with painful upper backs and necks due to whatever reason:
What do you sleep on?
What's helped?
What has not helped?
What's made it worse?

Ive got an MRI on my spine monday to try and find the source of my pain (7 months and counting now) painkillers dont touch it, and ive tried 11 different pillows but none have eased it at all.

Any recommendations with regards to getting a decent nights sleep with pain in this area?
