Cortez was poor that night

That's not to say he'd have won in different circumstances, but if he feels hard done by the ref then he's entitled to IMO

The chance hatton had to beat mayweather is gone, mayweather finished hatton and took a part of him which he will never get back.

Cortez was more than poor that night, some of the worst refereing i have ever seen in any "super fight." He never gave hatton a chance to impose his style, thats the truth. Hatton definatley had a chance to hurt mayweather if the ref had of played it fair.

Now this isnt coming from a ricky hatton lover/ floyd mayweather hater. I am a huge huge fan of floyd and personally cant wait until he beats pacquiao but ricky was hard done by that night.

Bob arum is in talks at the minute with floyd, discussing money etc. In a couple of weeks we shall know the full details, fight is scheduled for may if both fighters can agree on money.

Re:Pacquiao v Cotto (ShadowMan)

Integra

If there is enough $$$ involved, Hatton would fight his mum.

didnt Hatton say he would fight Khan if it was promoted through himself?

Re:Pacquiao v Cotto (drab4)

Integra

He is loaded but he genuinely believes he was hard done by in the Mayweather fight

I agree with him on that TBH. Cortez was poor that night

That's not to say he'd have won in different circumstances, but if he feels hard done by the ref then he's entitled to IMO

I read last month this quote from him after being asked about a Mayweather rematch (I hope that never happens!). I thought what he said was fair enough though, he thinks the ref was a little unfair but also admits he could just be feeling sorry for himself!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8318294.stm

"I thought I was hard done by to lose in the first fight. The referee didn't let me impose my style on him.
"I'd rather go in there and find out whether it is just me feeling sorry for myself or whether I was actually treated a bit harshly.

Anyway as has been said many times before his chin seems to have gone so now I wouldn't give him much chance against anyone, not even the likes of Witter or Khan. I'd love for a miracle comeback as I've been a fan since before most jumped on the bandwagon, but it's not going to happen

Re:Pacquiao v Cotto (makaveli1971 1996)

Hatton may as well retire tbh,he has had his time, even if he did get a win against a half decent fighter he would just get embarrassed by someone even better.

Also the shape he has gotten himself into now tells me it's totally pointless.

What about Miguel Cotto, where do people expect he will go from here?

Mosley re match?

Re:Pacquiao v Cotto (Integra)

Neb

I read recently that he's worth £60 million!

It wouldnt surprise me.
