If you look at the amount the pro's sleep and nap it certainly is one of the best options of recovery! But if you're really struggling try sticking in some L-Glutamine into your shakes and pre-bed that should help take the edge off and then there's always amino's, I find together they really do make a difference.
the best recovery supplement (wannagetbigmatt)

i have found, for me, the best recovery supplement ever. and its free.

SLEEP!!!

got an 11 day old baby boy and what with being up quite a lot at night, feeding etc. getting 4-6 hours sleep in total.

my DOMS have increased considerably!!! proper aching all the time, last freiday my triceps were still sore from mondays workout!

before the new arrival, whilst getting a good 8hrs+, my recovery was 24-48hrs max.

i can't wait till i can sleep through again......
