should i do cardio each day for fat loss with a good diet of 30-45 mins or longer?

Personally, I try my very best to keep my heart rate between 130-135 when going steady state after weights. If I'm running out of time then I'll do some high intensity intervals, 5 minutes warming up on the treadmill, 15 minutes of 30 second sprints, 1 minute rests then a 5 minute warm down. 5 days a week.

hi i usually do steady state cardio monday - friday each morning before breakfast for 40 minutes, with a good clean diet this works for me. cheers

You should give your body at least 1 days rest a week if doing high intensity weights and cardio

A bit of cardio like that is rest really, 35-45 mins cardio can be done any time and is good for overall condition but mainly for keeping the metabolism spiked, thus increasing the body's ability to utilise fat as fuel. I'm a huge fan of cardio, but even I have to admit that for fat loss, diet trumps cardio every time - you can't train away a bad diet, so use the cardio to get fitter and keep everything working efficiently, but clean up the diet if you want to shift fat seriously.

I try and do something different everyday, its just keeps things fun and interesting: Long walks (2-6 hours) Running SSCV HIIT Kettlebells Complexes Bodyweight calisthenics etc... Mix it up!

60 minutes fasted, heart rate around 130bpm works well for me.
