size matters 07 February 2012 20:47 (permalink)
Evening people. I have now reached my weight loss goal of dropping 2 st. Thanks to ECA 30+....I am after increasing my size of muscle. I currently use cnp e2 tabs 8 a day (4 before training and 4 after) and protien shake 3 x day low fat one.

I after any help there seems to be a lot of stuff out there but the best people to ask are how have been there and do it and not just after selling me any old stuff. Is there a good non steroid out there which can give you good size.....

Thanks in advance

No, not really. It's all about your diet.

This site has some great articles. I think a lot of people tend to miss them. I take it from your weight loss you're not looking to do any type of bulking? This is a good structure for diet. I would head over to the nutrition section if you need more help.

Macronutrient breakdown is obviously critical, but at the end of the day if you are not eating over maintenance calories than you will not gain muscle. Therefore you can eat protein rich foods by the bucket load but if you are eating very few carbs and fats it's still unlikely that you will be eating enough to grow. So it's all about total calorie intake, with a macro breakdown consisting of a lot of protein. Carbs and fat are, of course, absolutely crucial too.

Supplements are only used to supplement your diet. You take protein shakes to increase the amount of protein and calories you are consuming. They are just food, and so therefore are basically irrelevant if not consumed in the context of your overall diet.

But as for your original question, no there is no supplement that you can just take to make you add size.

Not sure really but my goal is to see my abs and obliques and a good definition on chest n arms. I didn't realise i had to eat so much but thinking about it makes sense. Thanks.

Nearly finished the eca 30 + which have helped drop body fat so need to do some research i think.

In that case you should continue to lose weight and tailor your diet accordingly. For all intents and purposes, you will not be able to add muscle and lose fat at the same time. So choose one goal or the other: lose more fat and see your abs, or forget about being lean for a while and add some muscle.
