Could be a number of things missing without knowing your complete diet. Vitamin B and D primarily regarding skin and nails but for both, could be a lack of iron.
How much iron in your diet? Throw in the odd handful of spinach, that should help if it is iron deficiency.
No amount of training can undo a bad diet.
