stc protein questions

ladies/gents


dont like too sweet proteins e.g myfusion - whey too sickly for my old man taste buds.

looking at stc that get good reviews

whos tried vanilla, strawberry, choc 0 what are your thoughts guys?

The vanilla is very sweet imo...tastes like cake batter - not a huge fan (although I have a tub to get through now!)...choc is lovley - not too sweet at all and tastes like dairymilk milkshake imo, and very smooth (not thick a la myofusion/epress whey).  Strawberry also tastes like a store bought milkshake. nice but choc takes it for me.  Considering price and profile I think its a top product.

I am personally not a sweetie eater,in fact i much prefer things like strong savoury tastes such as madras,spicey sauces etc.
Id sooner have a bag of hot n spicey doritas over a choccy bar or a sausage roll over a piece of cake.The only fizzy drink i like is pepsi and yet the vanilla is the one i reach for 9 times out of 10 when i want a protein shake.....interesting getting the feedback....very interesting.....

Its strange because I am the opposite I have a massive sweet tooth! After every meal I need something sweet, even if its just a bite!! I just get an aftertaste with the vanilla I struggle with! Going to have to just get it down I guess...is there a time scale on the raspberry flavour coming out?

hopefully a couple of weeks.....i had a sample mix which we experimented with on the gym members....greedy sods guzzled the whole lot so quick i only got 2 goes of it! lol
Looking to get it slotted into the next production run if all goes well so not long at all!
 
One thing i will say.....having some customers that insist on playing with flavours down here they have mixed half vanilla half stawb....that was nice....also half choc half vanilla which was also nice!
I tried half stawb half choc n found that really tastey!
could use up the vanilla like that....or i use tesco hot oat cereeal (ready brek type stuff) for breakfast and that with vanilla is stunningly yummy!

vanilla porridge for breakfast for the next month then!!!

Strange, Id say PHd Pharma Whey in strawberry is possibly the sweetest tasting protein I use, way sweeter than Strawberry Myofusion.

Checked on progress of raspberry after replying to you on here....it seems it is already produced so should have the 1st batch in the next few days!

Thats what i thought until a mate who is a top notch chef said that a lot of top class restaurants sell chocolate covered strawberries as a desert,also if you think about it the neopolitan ice cream had choc/strawb in it too!
Hence we had a bit of a dabble! lol

I might be thinking of strawberry synergy - been a while since I've bought phd supps but I think synergy had the 'strawberry delight' and pharma whey had 'strwaberry creme' - if so it was the delight I was thinking of, sorry!

Love the idea of mixing vanilla and strawberry, might well give that a try as the vanilla is by far my fave - I'd say its more like REALLY creamy ice cream than cake batter maybe?
