storage of dextrose?

the my protein packet broke so i put the dextrose in a air tight box from pound land, but today wanted to see if it actually was air tight after a few months of leaving it in there.. so i turned it up side down and some dextrose came out. the color looks like what it should be i suppose looks like white sugar.... would the carbs be still absorbed as in it would not of disintegrated considering it has not been stored in complete are tight container?

Should be fine stored in a cool dark place in such a container.
