do bodybuilders eat them daily or hardly ever?!?

i read a few bodybuilders and strong men eat them daily - ie mariuz P

surely not ?!?

are haribo, gummy bears, fizzy chews the 'best' to eat when after a fix due to low fat content

there is a difference between being a healthy bodybuilder and a bodybuilder

you can still be big and lean and eat things that arent healthy at the right times.

health wise i dont eat any

I don't see a big problem if in moderation.  God wouldn't life be boring without sweets.

I know a guy who eats fizzy cola bottles etc as his pre workout simple carbs, hes in great shape too...its all about moderation and apropriate timing I guess.

If you eat too many calories you will get fat. Eating sweets is an easy way to get the cals in. If you're big and have a fast metabolism then you're going to able to get away with eating "easy calories" without overspilling.

I read surprisingly that post workout sweets like gummy bears are actually very good at causing an insulin spike.

Personally all my vices are savory.  I could be without sweets and cake etc any day of the week.

I wouldn't say a lucky few can "get away" with it.
As said it is just moderation. Every person in the world no matter how strong, resiliant or toned will occasionally eat something "bad" for them. In many cases it can be justified as having positives (e.g. bodybuilders who eat sweets for the sugar charge before workouts).

I personally try my best to stay clear only occasionally having something sweet to dissolve the palette.
