the best recovery supplement

i have found, for me, the best recovery supplement ever. and its free.
SLEEP!!!
got an 11 day old baby boy and what with being up quite a lot at night, feeding etc. getting 4-6 hours sleep in total.
my DOMS have increased considerably!!! proper aching all the time, last freiday my triceps were still sore from mondays workout!
before the new arrival, whilst getting a good 8hrs+, my recovery was 24-48hrs max.
i can't wait till i can sleep through again......

Little whiskey in the sippy cup is always a popular and morally challenging option  Have to agree I always wake up creeking like a 90year old if I've not had enough sleep or even if my sleep is broken. If you look at the amount the pro's sleep and nap it certainly is one of the best options of recovery! But if you're really struggling try sticking in some L-Glutamine into your shakes and pre-bed that should help take the edge off and then there's always amino's, I find together they really do make a difference.
