Here you are! I missed the move over somehow.
Re bars, are you into baking/creating in the kitchen? Lots of recipes out there using protein powder - could kill two birds with one stone if you have a lot of powder to use up?
HelloOo!

It was once suggested the 'sugar alcohols' in them that render them 'lo-carb' could set off cravings for real alcohol. Don't know how true that is/was but I'm weaned off them now.
Really? I didn't know that...
One thing about sugar alcohols (and I'm surprised you eat these bars for this reason Fi bearing in mind you have intolerance/tummy issues) is they bloat you!
Same in chewing gum, fizzy drinks and sweetener.
They are indigestible matter so the tummy doesn't react well to them...
Ooo, I did not know that! Have to say, I've not noticed bloat, no more so than the sugar from a piece of cake would generate!?
So, '1st' interview went well, but the position is not for me.
I could so do the job and I think I'd be good at it and enjoy it, but not only does the starting salary cause me financial concerns but so too does the salary expectation of the role. We had quite a relaxed talk and they don't really know where the role is going but don't see the salary band reaching my expectations of where I'd like to think I could be in 5 years time.
I can very much see how to progress my career to get there with my current type of roles, but this was a fairly unique more sales-y role, I'm not sure it's a move that's right for me. The travel and expense was a big concern too, public transport could be done, but would cost me £200+ a month and about an hour vs my current 7minute drive door-2-door (or planned bike ride). Shame as they seem like a bright young energetic friendly co. which is what was drawing me to them.
However, another brief interview was had last thurs pm! Similar role, better pay, better benefits, 20min drive, just waiting to hear from them.
No training or diet update as nothing has been done!
