USN Protein dessert - mixing tips 22 September 2011 22:08 (permalink)
I know there was a thread on here about this before.

Just wanted to ask, any tips on mixing it to make it a nice texture to eat? i.e. like Angel Delight

Have two tubs on the way, buy one get one free from muscle finesse, should be here tomorrow.

I got two tubs also, just like a shake in all honesty, maybe try and refrigerate it to get an angel delight kind of texture.

Out of my two tubs I've had 1 serving, not something I'm a fan off personally.

Stick to my pro peptide, although it's cheap and can be used as a pre bed snack.
If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

            Hello,

Myself and JW bought this recently and had some issues mixing it.

The best thing to do is 2 scoops, just over 100ml milk, shake for a minute and then put it in the firdge, i do mine the night before and it's ready to eat, like angel delight the following evening.

If you try to put it in the freezer then please let us know how it goes!

              Nice one dronus.

Will put some in the freezer and see what happens. Better make some jelly to go with it in case it works out lol

Is this not just the same as any protein powder but with extra Stabilisers/thickener? Very much over priced for what it is!

overpriced at £21.99 for 30 servings? not badly that's ok isn't it or am i missing something? although isnt 87mg of sodium alot? personally i take myofusion (£36 for 60 servings) as a dessert/night snack but wanted to try this. i take it its a similar type blend then to myofusion?

Tastewise can someone comment/review on flavours?

                    Made some up.
2 Scoops. 100ml milk. Freeze for an hour and a half. Was soft frozen.

Just ate it. Its not bad. Will make it the other way in the fridge over night and see what its like tomorrow.

I found whey and quark to be very much like angel delight, a scoop of reflex peptide fusion in strawberry and a tub of quark is gorgeous! This is very over priced for what it is IMO, even with the offer... Some protein powders, ie/ scivation you can just mix with abit of water and it's like a dessert, but some whey's don't work.

I've been blending 50g with water and ice and it comes out like a thick ice cold angel delight!!... Banana Toffee and Chocolate Brownie both tasted great for me.

I bought some of this yesterday from GNC for £20 as I fancied trying it instead of cottage cheese. It was ok, a bit of a pain getting it to set in the fridge tbh.

The taste reminded me of being fed crappy desserts when I was in hospital :S

I have CNP ProPeptide and it blends into a desert type consistency... Strawberry is the best flavour I've tried but Chocolate worked really well to. Excellent pre-bed meal, it was a life saver during prep!!

So i made up a mix and left in the fridge over night. Not good. I wouldnt call it a desert, and its nothing like angel delight. I used an electric whisk to mix.

Wouldnt buy it again tbh. Decent for making icream, other than that all i can describe it as is glue in a box.
