Had an absolutely pants workout last night. Stonking headache which just wouldn't quit. Leg ext Squat machine SLDL Leg curl Thats all I did. However today I have absolutely mad Doms.

Back, rear delts and bis done and dusted. Deadlifts, weights upped on all sets. Lat pulldowns (drop set) Lever row Machine row Rear delt flye (drop set) ez cable curl D/bell curls Was absolutely shattered. (felt like I needed an oxygen tank after deads) Biceps weights were a bit down but felt well worked. Managed to pop a few sets of grip work on at the end as well so very happy.

Unfortunately had a bit of a tummy bug this week. This has curtailed training somewhat. Going to try and fit 3 sessions in, in 4 days.

Battered legs tonight. Leg press (different machine tonight due to a group of about 4 youngsters doing what looked like lots of 1/4 reps on the other one). Squat machine Leg ext SLDL Lying leg curls Legs nice and wobbly when finished

Diets been pants to be honest. Started off well but a weeks hols and a tummy bug have not helped. On the plus side, training has been going well. Improvements being made on each workout.

Thanks Gingernut, I do need to remember that its how much I make the muscle work rather than how much I lift sometimes. Leg workout today was totally crap. Had no ooomph at all. Got to the gym and thought I'd be ok once I started. Not to be. First exercise (leg press) felt like my legs hadn't recovered from last week. Very abbreviated workout. Leg Press Lying leg curl Std leg curl Leg ext Got home and was shattered. Had 20minute nap, then another hour in the afternoon. Still feel very tired so early night it is.

Feeling better today. Back and Bis tonight. Bit of a weird session as I had two training partners and was training in my old gym. Lat pulldown Compound row Smith deads ez cable curl d/bell preacher curl Spent a fair bit of time showing my friends 16 year old lad a variety of exercises for rugby, (he's just joined the gym).

Thanks Hazel Would love to increase strength on chest and delts but I know they're dead by the end of the session. Hopefully see improvement (in size and strength) by the end of the shapeup.
