Now then, a full day's load and only up 1 1/2 lbs... I had a 3 course meal and gained 4lb, where's the science in that

    Cheers Neil, i'll try get some vids of some reverse band deadlifting this week mate, not doing much event stuff at the mo so nothing much of interest to film really.
     
    Increase was small yesterday mate, so much so i've had a relaxed day today too, just had a  huge roast dinner with roast spuds! Nom nom nom!

        Lol! Feel 100% tonight bud, hopefully back to normal! Was a nice session today, enjoyed it, planning something a little different next sunday.
         
        Tuesday is my new deadlift lockout specialisation workout, going for a fresh 282.5kg reverse dead! I'll try and video it though don't think anyone will find it that interesting lol!

                Good sets, quickly get tired on these, very tough 2nd part of the lift which is just what i'm after! I can see 272.5kg coming from the floor very soon! Happy here.

                        Cheers Stu, GM's on safety squat bar are a bitch, feeling it now. Pleased with that 282.5kg dead, fast running outta weight now need more plates!
                         
                        Lol about hair, its actually a mohican that i haven't bothered to spike today! I'm rebelling in my mid 30's lol!

                          Lol! I'll spike it next vid, puts another foot on my height lol!
                          Daeds felt ok but lockout harder than the video shows!
                           
                          Using a safety squat bar, (though mines not 100% like a proper one) forces the bar high up on you back and throws your body forward hard working every muscle in the back of your body very very hard. If you get the chance to try one, do it! Very humbling bit of kit!

                              Ahhh I see, cheers. What about stability, doesn't look the safest piece of kit I've seen used, when you engage it does it lock you in more than it shows?


                              Throws stability off a bit but you get a good firm hold from the handles, feels very safe to use, just can't use as much weight due to centre of gravity being thrown out. Mine also probably makes the core work harder as its a hollow bar so most of the weight is on the bar ends which effects the feel of the bar. Works ok though.
