The IFBB British Grand Prix & the UKBFF British Finals move to Manchester to be part of the SportEx Festival in 2012!

 
After a massively successful launch event in March 2011 in London, the IFBB British Grand Prix moves to Manchester’s Event City at the Trafford Centre, on 20^th-21^st October 2012


The SportEx Festival includes a multitude of competitions and tournaments from a wide variety of sports.  Trade stands will be featured in a huge sport and fitness exhibition, plus team events, strength sports, fitness models, endurance tests and, of course, the IFBB professional and the UKBFF British Finals, bringing the best of bodybuilding alongside other mainstream sports.
 
The organisers of the IFBB British Grand Prix have teamed up with both the UKBFF and the organisers of Body Power Expo, to ensure visitors will enjoy a mind-blowing sports and fitness extravaganza weekend.
 
Why Manchester Event City?
With Body Power Expo in Birmingham, and B-Fit in London, it’s time the North of England enjoyed an event of this kind.  Situated beside Manchester’s Trafford Centre, the venue is situated close to the M60 with excellent road and rail links making it easily accessible from almost anywhere in the UK by car, coach or train.  Furthermore, with Manchester International Airport just minutes away and Liverpool John Lennon Airport just 30 miles away, the SportEx Festival is equally accessible from foreign destinations.
At the SportEx Festival, not only will you get the chance to meet your favourite sport and fitness stars, you’ll get to see them competing against the rest of the best!

Will Giants Live be there like it was at the 02 last year?
 
How will they run it, ukbff during the day and ifbb at night etc?
 
Won't leave much time for nutrition stands?
 
I gather there is no more amateur Olympia or is that event still taking place throughtout the year?
 
I would love to be there, got plenty of time to start saving.
 
 

We're speaking about the strongman and will have final details soon.
 
UKBFF Finals will be in the daytime, IFBB GP at night.
 
Plenty of time for nutrition stands, you can watch which classes interest you and eplore the stands and other events in between.  Remember, this will be a much bigger audience than just bodybuilders.
 
The downside is there will be no Amateur Olympia because we can't fit it in, shame, but we had no choice.
 
It will be a terrific event!
