The dates for the 2012 Giants Live contests (confirmed) are as follows (we'll update these regularly)
 
March 17-18 - Melbourne, Australia
 
June 9 - Finland
 
June 16 - Bucharest, Hungary
 
June 23 - Leeds, UK
 
July 21 - Poland
 
Sep 1 - World's Strongest Man

I will be doing updates as soon as I know them. Just a small one that happened this eve - We decided to change stones for medley load (barrels mainly).
 
Its Sat June 23rd, Leeds - if you want tickets please go to www.europestrongestman.com - You will be massively supporting the sport - and DarrenSadler who has gone to a lot of financial risk to bring this to the UK. Thanks v much  CB

Had a great day yestarday at Leeds, never been to a strongman event before so was a new experience.
 
Saw some cracking events, log lift, deads, loading and shield carry were fun to watch.
 
Big Z came first, but lawrence shaleigh snapped a a 3rd place.
 
Had vip tickets so for 40 squids you got a t shirt, magazines and to meet strongmen after the event, so worth the dosh.
 
People had the chance to get photos taken with the guys, i take my hat off to them for doing that after such a harsh day.
 

Saw big Z clear off with no explenation, not sure what went on there.

 
All in all a cool day, food vans were a rip off though at nearly 4 quid a burger lol.

yeah i ordered the tickets in the end just to be on the safe side.
was a great day, been to a few strongman comps but never seen so many people as there was at this one. even the missus enjoyed it, first one she`d been to and was cheerin our boys on. well done to all the british guys that entered and gave it their all as usual.
agree about the burgers, the que never went down all day, i guess they didnt expect so many people.

Was also quite suprised on how many people turned up, really good for the sport.

Colin, thank you for your commitment to this sport.  I'm just a dude who loves to watch and train on occasion but I hope if this comes around again (maybe next year?) that I can be there live and show my financial backing by getting a ticket.
